Fear Evolved 4

It's time to Trick or Treat whilst howling under the blood moon! The Dodorex and Dodowyvern will be striking fear into the hearts of Survivors with their fearsome return to the ARK! Hunt for new diabolical chibis, spectral creature skins, event themed threads, and new holiday emotes. Fear Evolved is one of our favorite events and we can't wait for you to experience what we've conjured up this year!

Event Details This event can be manually activated with the server arg parameter: -ActiveEvent=FearEvolved

October 22nd to November 6th

Rates

2X Breeding (mating interval, egg hatch speed, and maturation)
2X Player XP

Ahhhhhh. We should have fixed the level up text/icon notifications with this major, damn. We'll have to get it next time -- at least the text on the top of the screen.

We're now deploying a fix to our Official Xbox/Win10 Network which will resolve the connection issue for Windows 10 clients (v801.25)

ARK: EVOLUTION EVENT is active from now through 3 PM EST October 12th, with 2x Breeding, Maturing, and XP!

Yes I know I somehow mistyped captain.

We have identified the issue and are testing a fix. If all goes well, we'll be looking to redeploy the Xbox/Win10 Official Network in approximately 1 hour.

Don't worry, Captian Crunch is here. It'll be posted but it may be a little later than usual.

We're currently investigating an issue where Windows 10 clients are unable to join Crossplay Official Servers since the redeployment. We will keep you updated on the progress.

So I built this cabin on Crystal Isles and I think it looks pretty cool C: (interior shots in photo set)

Not sure if anyone has noticed, but on Official, you can't level your dinos past 450 anymore!! (This is a good thing!)

We're releasing a major version update for PC on Thursday at 10AM Pacific.

This major version is being deployed because of various network-related improvements to the live game.

Full release notes will be provided when the patch is live.

We've been improving our DDoS protection and, as we adjust and hone it, it's been a little overzealous resulting in connection and transfer issues.

We've spoken with our hosts and made some changes to our Oceanic and Asian data centers which should help improve these issues.
