Things are hard right now, and we could all use some support and camaraderie. Gaming can help us stay connected, particularly for those in our community who are social distancing/in self-isolation. We'll be continuing 2x harvesting rates beyond the end of the existing EVO Event.

Community Crunch 202: On The Horizon and EVO Event

PS4 players, I know you are a little behind in terms of updates at the moment. We're working to fix it but I don't expect a significant patch until possibly later this week. I could be wrong though 🤞

On the positive side, the #COVID19 scare is teaching us a lot.

As a community manager, it's teaching me that it's a prime time to leverage the ability to engage with your communities with much of the world being on lockdown.

In reality, social 'distancing' can bring us closer.

Also, for those on PC, how was the patch last week? Good? Bad?

How's your week starting? A lot of catch-up work to do internally so social media activity will be light. I'd like to get the QOL list updated this week.

The entire world is shutting down but at least we have Twitter right?

Xbox Live issues seem to be resolved. From our metrics, we can see a large number of players are now rejoining our Official Network.

We will continue to monitor and update you all as necessary. Thank you for your patience.

🚧Due to issues with Xbox Live causing players to be disconnected or unable to log onto ARK we have decided to temporarily take the Official Network offline to minimize player loss. We will restore our Official Network promptly once Xbox Live issues have been resolved.

There's currently an Xbox Live outage. We'll have news for our Xbox players momentarily.

We'll have a post detailing how the rates will work for these events in the upcoming week.

This doesn't include small tribes. We were unable to integrate that change in time for this EVO event. We're shooting for next week.

ARK: EVOLUTION EVENT is active from now through March 16th, with 2X Taming, Harvesting, and XP on all platforms!

Continuing to work on enabling it for PC. We may redeploy our Official PC Network shortly in order to resolve the issue.

EVO is active on Xbox, the notication hasn't been added to the main menu as yet as we work on the activating it on PC. Looking into PS4 also.
