I guess what it really boils down to is do you want to be called a game developer by the public or do you actually want to make a game.

Having done what some may consider actual game development (programming) and not game development (community lead), I feel just as much as I'm making a game now. Even more so in some aspects.

While Twitter is up in arms about who is an actual game dev and who isn't (QA, CM, Programmer), I'm just happy to be doing what I love to do in the games industry.

If you are doing what you love, don't get caught up in how other people define your passion.

I typically stay off SM on the weekend to recharge. As someone who works with the community, I feel it's important to have that reset so that SM doesn't become my reality and that I'm grounded.

Well, I got on today and now I'm like 2 hours into ARK posts - someone send help.
