I didn't do any coup...the previous owner emailed me and asked if I would like to take it over as he would not have the time to manage it. Nor have I ever scammed people with fake health products, or been part of a pyramid scheme despite the lies that are spread. Regardles...

The community did this at the start of this subreddit and it fell into disarray with no moderation activity from the mods. I ensure that the current volunteer mods are active and held accountable. I dont know if you know this, but its impossible to censor reddit, because censoring is public and can be tracked. The benefit of myself being able to review moderation action (such as this actual thread) is that I can be held accountable for any attempts of censorship. Which by the way, you did not send me examples of censorship. ;)

Please provide examples of this censorship so I can address them. The purpose of an official subreddit is to ensure accountability for exactly the things you are describing. As well as to ensure that the subreddit itself is held to an acceptable activity standard, which the previous owners did not do. You are invited to create or join another community run subreddit. That is your right ;)

We have addressed this before. There are several community run subreddits for Ashes of Creation, I would recommend visiting them.

We saw a few very detailed questions about bigger features like housing, class mechanics, and crafting professions - we’ll be sharing more in-depth looks at these topics in future blog posts so we can get to some of the specifics you’ve been asking for.

GENERAL

Q: Will you have a rotating cast for Twitch streams so we can hear from some of the other leads on the team?

You took the right steps by opening a ticket so our team can take a closer look! It's possible your account is having issues due to our recent migration, which we're still working to address (that may be why you haven't received a response quite yet - there's quite a volume of tickets).

Hi there - are you still seeing this error when you try to connect to servers from the Launcher right now? That message typically shows up when servers are offline (like if you tried to launch the game on Wednesday before Open Beta unlocked on Thursday).

Hi there - definitely appreciate you sharing this concern! We're able to adjust the player caps on the game modes to ensure that matches are kicking off faster, so during off-hours in certain regions we may tweak them accordingly.

Your thoughts on dynamic/faster gas based on population are interesting suggestions - I'll be sure to share them with the team!

Hi there - at the moment there isn't a game uninstaller, so you will need to delete your game folder manually in order to completely uninstall the game. The default install location (in most cases) is C:\Program Files (x86)\Intrepid Studios, Inc.

Hey u/Rivalistic, I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. Been helping you guys out behind the scenes and this seems to be a widespread concern that's stemming from a few web related hiccups.

The most common issue we're seeing during the migration is what u/Saltrenis pointed out - the known login issue with uppercase letters for some users. For now use all lowercase letters when logging into the website or launcher. Alternatively we have people coming back who have forgotten their passwords or login details. This will usually generate a "Password Invalid" message if the password is incorrect, or a "Username Invalid" message if likewise, the username is wrong.
