Pathfinders. we're currently investigating a server side issue that is causing some servers to refuse connection. We're going to analyse what's happening and work on a fix for this right now.
We are working on getting 3rd party hosts setup, as well as releasing dedi server files, and a linux server build ASAP.
As for v2.0 vs v2.1 -- as long as the major version number is the same i.e the 2, it'll be okay. the .1 was just an additional change that was made on the server side, but you won't need to download that.
Alrighty folks, the throttling issue and being disconnected from idle should be resolved now on our end. We're going to continue to monitor the server traffic and make adjustments as necessary. Appreciate the patience throughout this whole period <3
Restart your steam client to be 100% sure you've got the update. You want to see it say v2.0 in the main menu on the left hand side.

Pathfinders! We've just released client patch v2.0 and our Official Servers are online too. Please restart your steam clients to download the update and you can get in game!
Team are still working on getting these servers online, will have an update for you guys as soon as possible

Also for those of you who cannot purchase it.. it's probably because there's a lot of activity right now on the page. Trying your luck or waiting until it settles a bit.
For the folks who purchased at the higher price, I've been informed that you can request a refund and repurchase the game. It's supposedly meant to be a quick process in this situation. That's if you don't mind restarting your downloads
