Battlefield V Dev Tracker

Our next update to Battlefield V delivers even more fixes, changes and improvements as our War in the Pacific continues - arriving on Wake Island later this month. We’re also pleased to confirm that Community Games will launch as part of Update 5.2. This feature launches later this month, where you’ll be able to create your own playlist of your favorite maps and modes, invite your friends and play Battlefield V your way.

Below, we’ve detailed all of the changes that we’re making with this update, including insight on the new damage values affecting gunplay at long ranges. We’ve performed a large rebalance across the majority of weapons, ensuring that there’s now a better variety of options to help suit different styles of gameplay for each class.

DICE is based in Stockholm, so it's about 4:17AM there. Pretty sure no one is in the office yet. And I'm in LA, so it's still Tuesday.

And as noted in the OP, the Update notes will come out before the Update - but we haven't locked the date yet.

This has been escalated to our QA to investigate.

We haven't officially announced a release date for Wake Island. It's coming this month.

Team is currently working to lock down the last bits on the Update. Either myself or Freeman will have details on Wednesday morning regarding the release date of the update.

We'll know tomorrow about the release date.

With Wake Island, there will be 3.

Don't read too much into the verbiage of "at least" because it literally meant nothing more than that.

For those whom have already reached rank 40 in Ch. 5 Tides of War will we be able to use this token in later chapters?

It actually starts after Wake Island drops, to ensure there's at least 3 Pacific maps to use for the cinematic.

The contest runs through Christmas/1st of January.

It's not that I'm ignoring those comments/complaints. It's because I don't have any info to share regarding autobalance and anti-cheat concerns, though I am escalating these items daily. Once I receive any details I can share, such as next steps, etc., I will share them. Trust me, I know this is a big issue within the community and something that you guys have mentioned nearly every 3rd post.
