I have every skin in the game so far for the clones. Will I be given Phase II versions of the skin for free because of it?

If you own an appearance, you'll find a crate that unlocks the new Phase 2 version.

Do they have different designs as well to differentiate them from the other 3 classes (181st,87th) , like the 104th and 501st officers ?

Yes.

Yes, the appearances you get in the Legion Crate include the Armored Officer. The Shinies, 181 Armor Division, and 87th Sentinel Corps have Armored Officer appearances for free, and there's also the uniformed Navy Officer being a free appearance, after the patch goes live.

Well now I feel awkward.

I always thought the default Kashyyyk armor (white with green markings) was the 41st Elite Corps. I also thought phase 2 41st had grey markings and not green.

With Phase 1 troopers of the 41st Elite Corps appearing in the Clone Wars animated series, it made the most sense to design a nice new green pattern for the standard issue Phase 2 armor as well, so they're overall unified across both phases.

Was it there before?

Yes, I've had that header for most of 2018. Put it together after Star Wars Rebels wrapped up. Switched it out a couple of weeks ago, for a comic cell of Asajj when that comic came out, because it was so beautifully drawn. Just me being a fan like the rest of you. <3

One of my favorite Rebels moments.

Yes it's fixed. We put final touches on some legion patterns quite recently.

We use a screenshot tool that allows us to take bulks of pictures, and these are the WIP images you see in the transmission. However it's not able to render the kama, so while you can't see the it in this screenshot, it's not been removed from the appearance.

To make the wait for Anakin Skywalker* a tiny bit more bearable (players will get their hands on the hero of the Galactic Republic on February 27**), Mattias Kirsten, Animator on Star Wars™ Battlefront™ II, was kind enough to give us a peek on how the animations of the powerhouse Jedi were made.

And later, if you want to learn even more, make sure to digest our rundown on how a hero is created and ...

The flora and fauna on Endor is really something a little extra. Reptavian geejaws circle the air beneath the lush tree crowns, and Ewoks trek the forest floor and the settlements above – made up of huts, platforms, and walkways between the giant, Endorian trees. A place of beauty and serenity, no doubt, but the Sanctuary Moon has also seen its share of conflict.

It’s a good thing then that the Ewoks are fiercer than a first impression might reveal. The furry dwellers will dispose of any incoming threat by sounding their battle horns, releasing a small species of native fire spirits called Wisties, and fighting relentlessly with their spears.

At DICE, we take a lot of pride in the visuals going into our games. Of course, tech contributes a lot with Frostbite being a powerful game engine, but the high level of visual fidelity wouldn’t be possible without a collaborative effort, spanning talent across different fields.

In Star Wars™ Battlefront™ II, a stellar-looking environment is never down to just a couple of artists, but rather to different crafts working together as a team. That’s the only way we can achieve the standards we set for our games.
