It'll be a tricky thing to combat but as with everything, the more you play and experiment with weapons the easier it'll become for you to find the weapon that fits your playstyle.

The M5A3 is a good all-rounder with suitable recoil for midrange combat scenarios, and if you use it in a burst/tap scenario you could also control it for slightly longer range kills.

As you use particular weapons, attachments open up for those weapons allowing you to finetune it to how you'd like to use things too.

Ultimately though, perseverance is what will win the day for you. If this is your first Battlefield it may take time.

But remember, getting kills and low deaths isn't the way to win in Battlefield. Team work makes the wins work, and providing your team with ammo, revives, health, spotting enemies, taking out enemy vehicles and aircraft and capturing objectives will ultimately move you up the scoreboard and provide wins far more reliably than just...

Pressing the throw button will immediately throw any (and all) throwables. This can be turned off within your settings I believe so it becomes a "hold and throw" scenario. We have also sent through the feedback that in the case of Throwing Knives - you will continue to throw the other two knives.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong - but the "First match of the day" bonus does not get boosted by the XP Consumable items. Only in-round actions get boosted. In the End of Round screen it should highlight all boosted XP in yellow, and the "First match of the day" XP should remain as its default colour.

Seeing the reactions towards Spearhead is really encouraging for the team, it's been a long journey make no mistake about it - but it's posts like these that underline that we're on the right track with things.

Your progress and items that you have unlocked should carry across any platform that you play on, only things such as paid currency (and Battle Pass status, I believe) do not travel across platforms.

If you send me a message, I may be able to send you a key for the Ultimate Edition for the Xbox so it unlocks those Battle Passes for you too :)
