Visually the game aged pretty well and it still looked decent on a modern PC in 4K, with everything tuned up to the max and HDR. However, mechanically speaking you could definitely feel the age and it was a bit of a slog. The story helped to keep me (moderately) interested. 🙃

I finally did it.

After several tries to get into the game, and after about 44 hours of total playtime, I've wrapped up #TheWitcher2... originally released ~12 years ago in May 2011. 😅

Some more details: gorgeous cell shaded visuals, characters I cared about, fun and quirky story, a bucket load of pop and business talk references, excellent and friendly gameplay and controls, technically impeccable with stable fps and ofc the soundtrack! 🥰

Wrapped @hifiRush and man, it was amazing. So glad there's still space for unapologetic video games where the focus is on the word "fun". ☺️
