I've noticed multiple messages asking for more communication, which I think it's quite fair considering that my last and only post was 5 months ago... and I'll start this one by discussing the same topic! :D

After seeing some comments expressing their disappointment after the start of Shocktober, I thought that some conversation would be great to show that we're attentive to feedback and answer some of the questions. So here we go:

I guess it's fair for you guys to ask for more interaction and communication. I agree that there wasn't much since my last (and only) post 4 months ago.

I'm always lurking, coming to the sub pretty much every day to check the discussions, trying to answer when I'm tagged in a post, commenting on stuff now and then, and reporting to the team what needs to be reported (comments, bugs, etc). My last wish is that you guys feel ignored because you are very much not.

I don't fear the community, I would be in a very awkward position if it were the case. My job is to be at the frontlines, and I like what I do.

We already thought about posts and discussions that could be interesting for everyone and start valuable conversations, but we always pushed them to later. We could maybe start again the "what we've been up to/casual AMA" series from Drew! We'll see :)

To answer some of your questions:

So, like u/Marco-Green pointed out, SC support agents have a strict process for recovering accounts, especially the ones where money has been spent (like it seems to be the case here). If they ask for the first receipt, you need to provide it, not another one. That and other pieces of information.

I understand that it could be painful and not practical, but it's in our opinion, better than to give an account with hundreds of dollars of spending on it to the wrong person.

Unfortunately, I can't help here, sorry. My best advice is to provide exactly what the support asks.

It has been honestly a low priority so far with the update taking all our intention and time, but I'm pushing for a fix as soon as possible.
