Thank you for reaching out to us. Here are some ideas of what could impact or provide that error message. Please try the following:

  • Update Windows (no need to change to Win11 though, just update the current version you have)
  • Update Graphics Driver
  • Change to Default Graphics Card
  • Verify files in Steam
  • Disable NVIDIA Geforce/ AMD Radeon Experience Battery boost
  • Disabling Antivirus/Firewall Software
  • Turn off Overclocking and SLI Technology
  • Reduce PC’s energy consumption

Make sure to reach out if the issue still persists.

We’ve been reading your feedback and wanted to let you know we are actively working on the two known issues that have been impacting some players in the last weeks:

  • Invisible animals (rhinos, elephants, etc.)
  • The Isle of Siptah crashes (decay timers are still disabled at this time)

These issues have cropped up because of a problem we’re experiencing with middleware used to ship the game, which makes it more challenging to fix.

That said, our developers have made good progress on the issue and we hope to have these issues fixed by the next update. We will keep you updated with developments.

Thank you for the additional details. By any chance, when the game freezes when trying to disconnect: have you tried to leave the console there for a long time before forcing the shutdown?

If so, how much did you leave it there and does it eventually finishes, or does it crash even after the long wait?

Is your console on a wired or wireless connection?

Can you share with us how old the current save you’re playing is, and can you give us an estimate on how much you’ve built so far?

When you finish your play session, do you usually leave the game on stand-by or do you completely exit it?
