Another user has reported that after clicking on the purchase button a message was shown indicating that the DLC was already owned, and then proceeded to install.

Even when you’re offline, your character can still die to extreme heat or cold while sleeping, which is not an issue but an intended mechanic.

We’d suggest checking for any temperature effects before exiting the game, as well as depositing all your inventory in a chest in order to prevent any possible loss of items should something happen to their characters while you’re offline. It’s also recommended not to sleep close to heat sources such as furnaces, and be aware that they provide heat even when above or below the area they’ve been placed in.

I mentioned above that we are working with Sony on this. It is an issue in their side.

Yes, however that is most probably a different issue. Most steam users forget that they need to restart steam for the update to be properly recognized.
We just tested locally here and steam seems to work fine. (I will still keep an eye out for any answer or additional reports for steam DLC issues).

Does it also occur in single player or in other servers?

It’s the same as with other DLC pet skins: You get special food you feed the horse (it’s a feat)

Regarding the DLC:
We have contacted Sony so they can look into it.

It looks like Sony US has not enabled the DLC yet.
