Hey there,

We’re aware of this issue and we’re currently patching it on PC. Once we have fixed all instances of when this happens, we will deploy all those fixes bundled together into one patch on consoles.
We’ve been gathering feedback about this issue in this thread on the PC section.

Nothing to do with the launcher, it’s something deep inside the Unreal code, there are people who’ve been reporting the same issue on Rust and Ark for quite many years, but it does not seem to always happen.

Now, why would this code be running on a server, I’m not sure, but basically the code checks if you are running at least in 640x480, and if not displays the message and quit.

Obviously your screenshot is in more than 640x480, so I guess it’s very random :-/

Maybe try to reboot the machi...

No, the hunger system is not active anymore. We removed that :) Pets have their own decay system now, similar to the building decay. Raising depends on the server settings.

If you have access to the G-Portal server admin panel, you can set the value manually by just typing it in.
If you’re doing through the server settings slides in-game, there’s a known issue with it while using a controller in which it only lets either the max or min value to be introduced. In that case we’ve fixed that issue in our Testlive branch and it will be released on all platforms once it has undergone a few rounds of testing.

Actually, your screenshot is VERY interesting: It’s full of [FAIL] (except of the server itself).

So basically it looks like the steam query itself is not working at all, it can’t retrieve the actual update.

My code basically does that:

For each of the mods:

GetWorkshopItemLastUpdateTime(modId, title, steamLastVersionTime, installedTime);
if (steamLastVersionTime.IsNotValid()) -> show [FAIL]

and the function that fetches the data does something like that:

dw::URLLoader urlwrapper;
urlwrapper.SetConnectionTimeout(15);
urlwrapper.SetCooki...

Hey everybody!

We have a new patch introducing new content into the game!

A new high-level dungeon, a continuation of our re-vamping of major landmark locations with new unlockable recipes and loot, new pets (including undead ones!) and a whole myriad of bug fixes and balancing.

Thank you community for your continued support and your feedback and suggestions. Most of these changes and additions stem directly from your input! And as always, all this new content is free and available to everyone that owns the main game!


Please remember that updates can mess with your installed mods. We suggest taking a backup of your current database before updating to any new patch if you have mods installed.

It seems you might have an issue with your settings being saved to the ini files. Could you check if these two settings match your resolution before starting the game?

The settings are located in GameUserSettings.ini at Conan Exiles\ConanSandbox\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor

As @Vattende said, there’s now two new settings for thrall decay (timer and enable/disable). Also, since you mentioned this is happening in a private server: are there any mods installed?
