The next major update on June 23rd changes the chance of durability loss, and weapon durability will last about three times longer than before.

We've received much feedback and opinions on weapon durability over time.
We feel deeply sorry that we couldn't satisfy you all with the changes that we've made to weapon durabilities, such as durability increase or repair time reduction.

We noticed that the speed of durability loss had been frustrating for players, especially during combat; therefore, we reduced the chance of durability loss down to the non-stressful point with the next patch.

We keep seeking a way to improve the durability system fundamentally by discussing this topic amongst the development team.
We'd love to modify this system for you all to have enjoyable combat in-game. Please wait for further improvement.

If the game looks fine in it's current state, yeah go for it, but just be wary on how much content and how many fixes the game will receive moving forward. Game's not even fully translated yet.

The first roadmap is almost complete and a new roadmap stretching into 2022 was posted a week ago. Again, please join the Discord and check it out and speak with the developer's if you are concerned. Thanks!

You should check out some gameplay on Youtube or join the Discord and talk with active players, I think that would help you make your decision.

I can assure you though that the game is not being abandoned in any way. :)

But...that's pretty much what you're doing. These new people CLEARLY did not make Palworld from scratch, meaning they had to take the framework from Craftopia, meaning they have to get in there, figure it out, understand it, WORK with it, you know...everything they would have had to do anyway if they joined the Craftopia development ....hmmmmm

That isn't true at all.

Palworld is in very early development stages and currently being considered to include RTS/management type mechanics alongside other yet to be announced mechanics. None of these were present in Craftopia and haven't ju... Read more

As stated in the announcement post, this new game won't affect or hinder the development of Craftopia in any way.
PocketPair has grown much larger over the last year and 5 of our newest members are taking on this new project alone. None of the Craftopia team will be leaving or moving to work on Palworld. So please rest assure... Read more

Hello, everyone!
In today's INDIE Live Expo, we announced the major update of Craftopia on June 23rd and the new under development game called Palworld.
Thanks to everyone's supports for the success of Craftopia, we are now able to take on the next challenge. Thank you very much for all of your continued supports.

Many users may be worried about the future development of Craftopia. However, the development team of Craftopia has expanded from an initial team of four to a current team of more than 15 people. (Of course, the core members continue to develop Craftopia.)

The expansion of the team has enabled us to work on drastic improvements that we've put off until now. The next major update will also greatly improve the performance of the game. (Steam workshop mod support may also be available with that!)
In addition, we are now able to spend more time on research and development. We're currently testing various methods of map transition.
