Right click your game on Steam and go to:

Properties > Beta > Beta Participation > Legacy

It will roll your game back to the legacy version and the island mode.

Hello,

It’s a known issue and a result of the localization system defaulting to JP instead of EN by mistake.
It will be fixed in the upcoming patch.

Thanks.

Hello,

Yes, we are aware of this.
There was an error with the localization system and it set a lot of EN text to JP by default.
It will be fixed and correctly set to the EN text in the upcoming patch.

Sorry about that.

Hello,

This issue has been fixed and will be patched soon.
Sorry about that, it's a result of a bug with the localization files that caused the JP to display even when the game is set to EN!

This is the interface for exchanging slates and orbs for permanent buffs.
Again, it will be fixed very soon in the patch.

Thanks!

The NPC's love of "pictures" has been corrected and will be applied in the upcoming patch.

The same goes for all the NPCs in the starting area.

Originally posted by bee40: The overall performance of the game is a lot worse than before the Seamless Update. The rain is louder than every other sound in the game which makes it really annoying. Would be nice to see a weather sound volume setting so I can make the rain less obnoxious. Other than that, great update.

The sound of rain will be lowered in the upcoming patch.
We've received a lot of reports about performance and GPUs running hot and the issue has been identified too. The team is working on it now and hopes to include a fix for that in the first patch.

Thanks.

Originally posted by TheGodlyChair: I haven't played before this update, and I know that the devs are Japanese, but why are some things still in Japanese even though I'm playing in English? Like whatever is underlined in the top right corner, or sometimes your character says something, or even whatever default "F" controls. I wasn't expecting them to be perfect but I was just wondering as too why somethings were left untranslated.

Hello,

Yes we are aware of this problem and apologize.
It's due to a bug on the localization system and it loaded the JP text instead of the EN text.

It will be fixed VERY soon!
Sorry!

You very well may not have that problem, but I have. Would love to hear your theory on what the text in the screenshot I posted is trying to say.

I actually only got around to doing this interaction about an hour ago.
We are manually translating things as fast as we can but the amount of text is massive so I'm afraid there are some machine trans... Read more

Thank you for playing Craftopia.

We would like to provide you with instructions on how to transfer your Craftopia data to the Seamless World update.

Please note that after the Seamless World update, any newly created characters will have their progress reset when you perform the data transfer.

Make sure to complete the data transfer **before** progressing further in the Seamless World version. Please see the notes at the end for more details.

1. In the classic version of Craftopia, place the items you want to transfer into your character's inventory.

※ If you have already installed Seamless World, you can play the classic version of Craftopia by selecting the "Legacy" branch from the beta section within Craftopia's properties in your Steam library.

2. Launch Craftopia with the Seamless World update a... Read more

Originally posted by Ghaos: Ngl I've been impatiently waiting for the seamless update too but like search the discussion threads for pretty much any slur and it's been hurled at the devs, the players, and the critics. Imagine you're trying to make a cute and wholesome game and instead of a community you got a bunch of redditors throwing slurs around. I just feel bad for the devs.

Most of the team don’t speak English and I don’t spend much time translating anything other than bug reports and genuine feedback so, I wouldn’t worry about it!
The team will continue making the game they want to make either way :)
