Hello Survivors on Xbox and PlayStation!

We are happy to share some information on the private servers coming to your consoles soon. Private server support from our side will begin with the 1.04 update. This update was originally scheduled for the end of July, but as we had to resubmit the update, it might be delayed by a couple of days. We are well aware you can't wait to get your hands on this update and will keep you posted.

However, this shouldn't stop you from preparing your start into a new game experience on private servers, as you can already pre-order your private DayZ server from our partner Nitrado.

But what is a private server and what possibilities will it enable for server owners? We have compiled a FAQ for you, to answer the most pressing questions. Ask us below about any further details on the release of private servers for consoles.

🎮 CONSOLE PLAYERS:

1.04 update will be released Tomorrow, 7th of August. We will post detailed patch notes together with it.

⚠️Remember: update comes with complete character and server wipe.

This morning there was an issue with our online services, impacting the connection to the console servers. Everyone should be able to connect again by now, and the team is investigating the cause. We apologise for the inconvenience.

This week is my last official week in Bohemia Interactive (I am already out for two months because of my [h]ealth). I am glad I had such an amazing community and met many interesting people. DayZ still has a long way to go but to me it is perfect. Love you DayZ devs and community!

As that's later than we expected, we will be giving away 1 PS4 key and 1 Xbox key for DayZ to two random comments under this post. To be considered for the giveaway, just include the console you are playing on.

The selection will be made within 24 hours from this post.

With a few hours delay we have sent the first wave of the Survivor GameZ alpha keys.
If you don't see an email, even in your promotion or spam folder - you didn't make it in the first 5k players.

We are fixing last-minute issues with the Survivor GameZ Alpha. Keys will be sent in a few hours, we will update you when the mailing happened.
We apologise for the inconvenience.
