When the 0.70 update hits the Closed Alpha, testers may notice that rain water is no longer a particle effect, but now pools on the ground and drips down walls.
The return of material-based weather effects will be one of many improvements to look out for. 👀

We feel immersion is incredibly important in a survival game like Dead Matter, and offering realistic lighting is essential in accomplishing this. 💡
The 0.70 version of our Closed Alpha will feature more immersive lighting among its updates.
