Hey, if you requested the refund on Steam, this is between you and Steam - please contact Steam support or await their response.

If verifying files doesn't help, you can try to go here for help: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/categories/technical-issues We have no technical sub-forum here and on the official forums we have mods that specialize in technical.

Right now they're still investigating what's causing the issues on the RDP map, but it's enabled for usage in custom games. Due to that though, there is a slim chance you might encounter it in a live game, but it's not guaranteed.

That bug if unequipping items after the tutorial has already been reported, but if you do have lost any content, please make a support ticket as soon as possible: https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us

All that the symbol shows is that they are on a different platform than you, so they could be Windows Store, Xbox, Switch, Stadia or Playstation - as they're able to chat (and presuming you are on Steam) that would mean they are playing from Windows Store or Stadia (I believe Stadia users can also use the in-game chat).

Players from Xbox/Playstation/Switch cannot use in-game chat even with K&M plugged in.

The map is currently available in Custom Games and there's a very small chance that it will appear on the public live games - but this is a very small chance. However, offerings to take you to this map, will not work as they have been disabled, you can still collect these offerings in your bloodweb though.

We do not have an ETA on when this map will return into regular rotation as we need to assess the stability of it before that happens.

The skill based matchmaking system is currently collecting backend data of matches. The "killer lock" was put in place in preparation of this match making system being implemented into the game...it means that the game doesn't require an update to implement/test it and can be done via our systems only.

As the matchmaking is done per killer, it prevents players from queueing with a killer they may be weaker on, getting matched with players of that level and then switching to one of their stronger killers.
