Make sure you keep your wallet far aware from the bed, because next thing you know you might be buying DLC in your sleep.

Hi there, a lot of people have been reporting having issues with trophies not unlocking on PS5 despite meeting the requirements to unlock them. I've tried to get a response through Jira, Twitter, and on here but no luck so far. Are you guys aware of this issue? I love the game but it's really frustrating not having trophies unlock.

Yep, we're trying to find a fix for it.

Sorry to bother you again, but I'm just wondering if the dev team has found anything in regards to these shutdowns, or has managed to replicate the issue? Another four or five people have responded to this post complaining about shutdowns, and someone else made another topic about it. That makes around twelve or thirteen of us in total, and there may be more that just haven't posted in this subreddit.

I understand that there's not much that can be done if you guys are unable to replicate the problem, but I figured it didn't hurt to ask. I absolutely love the game when it works, and I really want to keep playing without having to worry about my system shutting down or eventually bricking.

Sorry about the delay in reply - a lot of stuff is going on with the launch and COVID rampaging.
The issue is on our list, but currently the connection issues take precedence as the crash issue seems extremely rare (just to add perspective; the userbase on PlayStation is absolutely massive currently, and we're not seeing a lot of critical crashes considering the amount of users playing).
Some other users seem to be having same issues with Fortnite, and since they are both Unreal Engine games that might give a clue to what it is. Can't promise anything though, but I am passing it on to QA.

same. i thought it was only fortnite until i started playing deep rock for the first time. it’s now just these two games that cause a shutdown, i think it might be a software issue

That's interesting as both are Unreal Engine games.

I see your point. But other then "you can see others assignments", the game doesn't really telegraphs WHO's missions we're doing to do.

Imo making leaving a team "inconvenient" is not enough to keep the team together. Although i respect the goal.

You can do a couple of things about this:

  • Clearly telegraph that there is a benefit to stick together.

  • Clearly telegraph if the mission that was picked by the host is a random mission or if we're doing some's assignment. You could even add some minimal +% bonus if the host is picking someone's else assignment.

I much rather stay and help someone out, instead of doing some random mission.

This is a clip from a random streamer: ...

You may be on to something here... I will give this displaying that a mission is part of someone's assignment more thought for sure. Thank you.

Too bad joining to a specific mission doesn't works, but using the server browser you can join. But obviously the server browser will show all missions, so that's not great either.

Strange, we have been unable to reproduce this issue on our side. And it's very odd that all the options are unavailable to you in that screenshot... is it like that always? How do you start missions?

*Edit: You'll probably not be able to do the Deep Dives though as they are primarily group content.

Just want to clarify that deep dives, like all our other missions scale their difficulty based on the number of players.

While I understand why you would want that functionality, we do not want to encourage players to constantly jump from group to group.

If you find a team that works well togwther it is (in my opinion) totally worth it to stay together and help each other finish assignments, hang at the bar, etc. The host player can see everyone's assignments on the mission map which would make it quite easy for them to select the missions other players need.

Placing a "leave" button at the end screen would advertise the option and suggest to many players that they should considder leaving the team.

So yeah, just wanted to let you know that your suggestion is heard but also why we will not implement it.
