With the last glimmers of ghoulishness within the Galaxy dwindling away now, as we shift into November and away from All Hallows, there's an important piece of information regarding the in game Halloween event that we must share with you.

The in game event itself will remain ever present for Commanders to discover and will not be removed, however the in game rewards recieved for working through the event phases will no longer be available to collect, as of this Friday, the 4th of November.

To be as clear as I possibly can be, you have the remainder of Wednesday (today, November 2nd UTC), all of Thursday (November 3rd UTC), but from midnight UTC - leading into Friday, November 4th (UTC) - you will no longer be able to recieve in game Halloween Event rewards for progressing through the event.

You may be aware that AMD released a driver updated very recently - AMD Adrenalin 22.10.3.

This was a beacon of light release against a number of stability issues (and more) enountered from an earlier driver update, raised in a past thread (Information regarding AMD RX 6000 series driver updates).

Tomorrow, September 8, we will be releasing a small, client side update containing the following///

[*] Adjustment to lens flares so that they are now appearing on all quality settings and are visible at the correct ranges.

We've received numerous reports over the course of the last few days that the Cobra MKIII Noctule Blight Creator Drop paint job is not showing in your in game livery, despite being successfully claimed via Twitch.

It's been a baffling one, this, as for some the issue was corrected randomly after a log in attempt, but for others it remains missing.

We have eyes on this and Customer Support are welcoming Commanders who still have yet to see their Noctule Blight paint job for the Cobra MkIII available to apply in game, despite the drop counting on Twitch, to send in a ticket query via the following form: https://customersupport.frontier.co.uk/hc/en-us/requests/new?tick... Sorry to bring such news into your Saturday, but it’s been alerted that a number of Commanders have reported issues over the last hour or so, with logging into their Elite Dangerous accounts via Steam.

The primary issue being for some that their Steam login was replaced with the ‘purchase/redeem’ routine.

As I’ve been typing this out, we are seeing Commanders being able to return to the Galaxy via Steam again, so hopefully this was a temporary situation, however an eye will be kept out for any additional reports.

Just wanted to show acknowledgment.
