why are new ship kits coming out when there's no incentive to buy them with the game in a bad state as it is right now with bugs? U16 saw references to anecdotal bug fixes at best. Rather than fixing Odyssey multi-crew experience with constant crashing. Consistent crashing to desktops. lack of AA fixes at best. Crap thargoid heart glowing, basically just patching over it. You can see see through the petal especially as it passes over a solid object like a planet or sun... come on fdev.


Some issues simply take a lot longer to investigate and make good and with Elite being the absolute size, age and intricacy that it is - a lot is involved in everything around it.
As always the team are continuing to work as hard as they can in the best way manageable when it comes to development and all involved.

I only see survey ship kits for 4 ships at the store, and the DBX isn't one of them. I then selected the DBX only, and it shows a single 12-piece kit for it. It appears as though the announcement was made before all kits were actually made available.


Takes a moment for the store to catch up at times. Unfortunately it's a bit hard to judge but with a little patience it'll be all ok soon :)

Same here with the Cutter, enters station (relatively) okay on auto dock.
Exit can be variable with auto launch, so when I have to use manual undocking (because ship dithers too much or gets stuck in the stations framework) it's touch and go. Sometimes I'm fined, but If I can't extract the ship, logging out and then logging back in the game usually puts me back in the hanger with no fine (sometimes).
The 'flakey' operation of the Cutter when using auto launch is still happening, I've noticed similar but lesser auto launch problems with some of the other ships as well.

One thing I have notices is when the thruster bug was in effect until it got fixed in update 15, partway the docking computer was "fixed" to deal with the reduced thrust. Am not sure if the fix was undone when the thruster output was doubled and might be causing the issue now, they are too powerful and overshooting.


Is there any chance you could contribute this to the report, Malic so it's more official? (If you feel it's related of course).

It seems U16 has added a new wrinkle to the ongoing problems with the auto-launch on the docking computer. This time the Cutter made it through the slot, only bouncing off the side once - then ground to a halt in the middle of the floating adverts, twisted round a bit, and then tried to reverse back through the slot (not even successfully as that time it did miss the opening).

Maybe U17? (I know, I know.)


Cori is this in Issue tracker anywhere for us please? Would love an official link to it seeing as other commanders in here are contribution via response.
