Following recent reports of crashes when handing in missions, the team have committed a fix to help the situation this morning.
The fix may take a little time to propagate, however improvements should be being seen as of now.

They are, however continuing to investigate crashes occurring for some on launch of the game.

I’ve updated the thread I popped out this morning with additional news that Missions are behaving now but will keep as close an eye out as possible.
Just so sorry it’s a little lighter focus than I’d like with it being ECM and the weekend.

Greetings Commanders.

Having taken time to monitor and make sure that support was applied effectively to address the unusually long Fleet Carrier jump times that you were experiencing above, we're happy to confirm the situation stable and working as intended (the support team will update the Issue Tracker as soon as possible with this information).

As already known - during periods of heavier traffic around Fleet Carrier movements, you may see increases in jump times to as much as 20-40 minutes, which is intentional in order to help manage and spread such traffic loads but overall, 15 minutes will predominantly be your jump time wait (approximately) during regular traffic.

If you experience unusually longer jump times again moving forward (over an hour), please don't hesitate to file a report in Issue Tracker as before.
It's always so helpful.

I have done launches, jumps and dockings in-game, exited to desktop and restarted the game successfully, with no further attention to the fsave_optionsxxx file.

[USER=188830]@sallymorganmoore[/USER] - this may, or may not be the reason for the issue - but it deserves investigation by the Dev team. I still have the fsave-options file which was causing, or invoolved with the crash and can send it if required.


This information has already been passed on to the development team to aid in their investigation into what's causing this crash. Appreciate you flagging it nonetheless!

Hi there.

We've had numerous reports of the game crashing at shader prep since maintenance this morning, and the development team are currently looking into it. There's unfortunately not much else I can tell you at this stage, but we'll hopefully figure out what's behind this soon.
