It's true it'd simply be easier to make a playlist and listen to it while you play the game, but I'll always encourage those who might be interested in modding to give it a try.

So with that said, if you are interested in making mods, I'd recommend the Wiki modding resources page as a good place to start.[eu4.paradoxwikis.com] In your case, you'll find a music mod creation tool here and that should be of great use :)

As mentioned above, trial and error IS certainly an option, and in fact this is my preferred way to learn as well. But it's not everyones cup of tea, so if you find yourself stuck even after giving it a try I can recommend our Player Resources[forum.paradoxplaza.com]

Right now the 4 DLC 'Rights of Man', 'Art of War', 'Digital Extreme Upgrade' and 'Common Sense' are free to download on steam, but are still separate DLC.

On October 17th these DLC will be fully integrated into the game, meaning they will no longer be "separate". This is to give people a chance to finish up their save games before they are made incompatible with the additions of the DLC on the 17th.

The ongoing sale will continue until October 23rd :)
