The Abyssal Proving Grounds are returning and they'll be better than ever for EVE Online's Phoenix Quadrant!

In an update to Quality of Life for the feature, the Proving Grounds will now have persistent in-game leaderboards so that you can track your progress (and that of others) across the events, as well as auto-rewarding of prizes. These QoL upgrades will apply to both Tranquility and Serenity servers!

The events themselves will feature many new formats for combatants to sink their teeth into, and as rewards there will be new SKINs for Battlecruisers (Brutix, Cyclone, Ferox, Prophecy) and Destroyers (Catalyst, Coercer, Cormorant, Thrasher).

UPDATE: The cause of this exploit has been resolved and there is no longer a risk of inviting sanction.

It has come to our attention that some capsuleers have been able to rapidly gain positive standings with the Triglavian Collective and EDENCOM using unintended methods in older Rogue Drone content.

Effective immediately, using these means to specifically farm standings with the Triglavian Collective and EDENCOM is considered an exploit and we ask that players who had been doing so to refrain from attempting to gain standings in this way.

We are monitoring the situation and are investigating the actions required to correct this.

The shape of New Eden has been altered forever in the aftermath of the Triglavian Invasion, so now it's time to rise from the ashes in "Phoenix", EVE Online's Quadrant 4!

Following on from the fantastic Fight or Flight, Eclipse, and Zenith Quadrants in 2020, Phoenix will end the year spectacularly in EVE Online with big changes to Supercarriers, continuous balance and meta changes, as well as the Crimson Harvest and Yoiul Festival events and much more!

This change has no effect on the Location Node in the EVE Cluster that is hosting the solarsystem in which the fleet fight is happening.

To explain in a bit more detail*: Thousands of EVE Clients connect to the EVE Proxy nodes and their calls get routed to the EVE Server. But the EVE Server is 280 nodes, each with their specific purpose. One such purpose is being a Location Node, which is a node hosting a solarsystem. Another such purpose is being a Cluster Singleton Node, which is a node hosting global / location-agnostic singleton services.

Fleet fights happen in solarsystems and are handled by a specific Location Node. In the case of large fleet fights then...
