The functionality of the gates should be returning to normal as we speak. If you are still in the system that has gates offline, please report which system and gate you are trying to use.
As for the issues with launching the game client - we are currently working on a hotfix to address this problem.

Offline gates are not a bug.
Can you let me know what kind of an error message are you getting?

The thing is that the size of the font has been changed to ‘Medium’ for everyone and the default font size before the update was closer to ‘Small’ which can make the text less readable for some at first glance. I would firstly suggest for you to try changing the size of the font to Small to check if that makes it better:

No cosmic anomalies have been removed from WH space.
If that does happen, I am sure we can think of an allternate actionto give some justice - again this is temporary - so no need to go full panic yet…

There is a lot about the new Triglavian systems that players will need to discover on their own first but we have further communication planned that will be released over time.
The deployment went without issues. We are getting ready to start Tranquility in a VIP mode to perform a range of tests before we start accepting connections. Hold on tight!

That is correct, the second Tuesday of each month is when we move to another patch cycle. While this patch normally features the highest number of changes and bug fixes, we often have major updates rolling out later.

With today’s release (13 October) we will be temporarily disabling both the player bounty and kill rights features on Tranquility. We are taking this action as part of an ongoing initiative at CCP into the exploration of server and client performance during large fleet fights. When these features are disabled for an extended amount of time, we will be able to take a different look at how both the server and client performs.
