Oh hey you beans!

Today's Vibe Check is ready to go - and we've also tackled some of the bigger bugs introduced after our latest update. These were tricky. We still have improvements to make on PS, but it should be considerably better from today!

[PlayStation] IMPROVEMENTS to instances of crashing on PS. We are still actively monitoring this. Players should see considerably reduced instances of crashing on console.

[Gameplay] Players will no longer float upwards into the sky at the start of a round[Gameplay] Players will no longer stutter on moving conveyor belts

[Gameplay] Conveyor belts will no longer launch players forward continuously after a round ends on levels such as Lost Temple

[Gameplay] Players will be correctly eliminated after falling into the slime on levels such as Jump Showdown and Hex-a-gone

High priority issues such as Jumps Failing are still being investigated for an update in the near future.

We changed to random finals due to the spawn point issue that was widely complained about when Lily Leapers Limbo last ran. As a workaround while we sort out the spawn points, the final has been switched to random finals. However, it isn't intended for every final to be Lost Temple so we are looking at adjusting qualification percentages in order to allow for the other finals to come up.

Yes, everyone was supposed to get Party Starter but those who logged in before the shop changed got Scarlet Plume. This will be rectified, just waiting for details on exactly when/how.

Hey! yeah we've been trying to improve the stability of grab and remove those moments where it looks like you've been grabbed for the wrong side and then moved around.
I think these fixes are currently slightly too strong though, and we've lost too much of the grab meta in Roll Out style levels. I've got a meeting in...30 minutes to go through feedback from the community and to tweak the grab forces.

I'm sorry, totally get it and agree. For future votes I'll try out any other options that QuestionPro have, when I created the survey it really did seem like the best option they had but I'll give some other question types a go for the next one!

Original fan favourites, no team games. Someone from Mediatonic even said at the time, they were not surprised none made it in. Second time around, the voting system is changed for no reason, and oh look a team game makes it in.

Certain rounds couldn't make it under the original system, so the voting system was changed to let them, now it's being changed again for no reason.

Unfortunately that just isn't true, it's me who lets the team know which rounds are top voted and should make it in. I have 0 reason whatsoever to chuck in Fall Ball if people didn't vote it in. You're right, I was really surprised that Fall Ball made it in consistently after the first vote.

The reason I made some changes after the first vote was just because I didn't think that there were enough rounds in the show, but there was no hidden agenda to sneak Fall Ball or any other team games in. In the second iteration of the vote, I'd decided to include the top 3 rounds in some categories to make for a wider variety in the show. Fall Ball was the 3rd highest voted round in it's category in that vote, and then in the 3rd version of the vote it was, believe it or not, the 2nd highest voted in it's category after Hoverboard Heroes, ranking even higher than Jump Club.

We have all the new Season 6 rounds added for you to vote on and create a show full of the community's favourite rounds!

The survey is now in English, Brazilian Portuguese, Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional), French, German, Japanese, Korean, Russian and Spanish. I have seen a user on here report that anything above 60FPS is crashing their game. I am letting the team know this, but do let me know if you're seeing the same in the meantime.

Update on 23rd of Feb

We are working to deploy a fix for the bug that sees players ascending into the sky at the start of rounds. We're also urgently looking into PS performance issues such as FPS drops and crashes.

Me (and a LOT of other people) would have been very relieved to see all this stuff on the trello and would have atleast let us know that you guys are listening and the devs are working on the issues honestly

We'll work harder from this update to keep the trello clearly updated on a weekly basis to reflect the most active issues. I totally understand and agree, so we'll be maintaining that much more closely from today.
