About the daily shop it's kinda disappointing though. Personally I don't see the reason why it's like that and it kinda feels punishing to the players who have bought a lot of the old cosmetics. Anyways...

After a content update, with a lot of players getting into the game at once, it can take some time for everyone to get back in. Like loads of people trying to fit through a door at once. This should be fine now but let me know if you're still getting a problem. We have a few different error messages at the moment but this could be related to our recent Content Update.

So it’s not that they’re just not transferring over, they aren’t activating/triggering/popping when you outright earn them again, but that is also selective AF since some of them are popping. I’ve found more are not popping after earning them than are though. It’s a serious problem.

That is part of our investigation and we are working to sort it as soon as we can. I am sorry that you're affected by it in the meantime.

The game continuously shows incorrect button prompts in the menu and in-game. It even used playstation buttons with the message that pops up when someone joins for voice chat. I think the only times it's been correct is the buttons for readying up and selecting the modes.

On xbox btw. I've tried rebinding the controls but when it asks me to press a button to reassign to an action it doesn't register any inputs

Yeah I am really sorry about that, it's a known issue above and we should have a remedy for it soon. It's really weird to look at.

We have temporarily removed the Daily section whilst we fix a problem item that was causing users' stores to crash or not load.

This will only be for a few hours. You will be forced to restart your game if you haven't already, and it may take you some time to rejoin due to the volume of people reconnecting at once.

Update: The daily store has been removed and you should be able to join games again.

UPDATE: managed to get into the same game with my friends by starting at the same time and then finding each other by costume, their in game names are not representative of their epic accounts and appear to be randomised.

Yep sorry that is happening, it's one of the known issues above. It's specific to the party system at the moment (so the cross-platform invites to be in the same group). We're working to resolve that at the moment.

It may be because the volume of tickets for this is low at the moment, but the more reports we get the more we can investigate it. It could also be a different issue manifesting in a different way. If you contacted support - sounds like you and /u/ZaWams have - that'll get diagnostics started!
