Yes, the Friend's List is definitely on their radar, they are aware of it and investigating fixes.
How do we know when the cook out's going in?
You'll see the event on your Map and there should be a server-wide notice, too.
Grahm's first Meat-Cook starts soon! (Just over an hour from now) You can turn in your Prime Meat there, and he'll host a new Meat-Cook every hour on the hour after that.

Heya! You should be able to start collecting some Prime Meat now from Primal Cuts events, but Grahm has a few last minute preparations to make before his first Meat-Cook Event kicks off about 1hr 20min from now. After that, Grahm's Meat-Cook will appear on the Map every hour on the hour.

You should be able to do Primal Cuts Events now to get a few cuts of Prime Meat before the Meat Cook starts.
I randomly pops in the map :) Just did 2 of them but I don't know where Graham is to deliver the prime meat.
