Just to note... There was never a date released for the Hero Loadout. I'm not sure where the idea that it was coming in v7.20 came from. I definitely apologize if this was miscommunicated somewhere.

The thing that bothers me the most are the constant delays for updates. Since Christmas I've been hearing about the Hero Rework and nothing more than Magyst saying "it's coming soon, we are finishing this that" while BR got a new event and such. Why is the STW team so slow?
It's not a matter of being slow.. but the amount of time it takes to do something the right way. STW is very complex and has several Heroes to manage and balance. This Hero Loadout revamp is something the team has been working on for quite a while and isn't something that can be done overnight. You also have to factor in QA testing, UX testing, and then make adjustments/fixes based on bugs and balance.
The Storm King, for example, may have seemed like "OH a new NPC and that's it". But even that took several months of planning and implementation.
Major communication beats?
Yeah, thinks like Blogs, Dev Updates, etc.
Ouch! I added the below comment on another thread.. so I'm going to add it here because it's relevant to this thread as well.
I'm putting some final touches on major communication beats. However, we're still working on release dates for these features which puts a hold on when the messaging goes out.
I definitely don't want to release information on something that either gets changed or delayed. I promise I have some stuff coming for everyone very soon!
Like everyone else! Out of curiosity, do you guys take reddit tips into your game, like the floor launcher after the Chinese did it, or do you guys already know everything?
We take a lot of the feedback into consideration from other social channels not just from Reddit, but it has to be good and constructive feedback. No idea is a bad idea <3
Crackshot is my favorite skin.
when you focus on BR too much
Appearance, Crackshot would instantly be my main if he was an Outlander. Not a huge fan of Soldiers.
August 29th confirmed /s
2030, to be precise.
Yo magyst, are you trying the PL 128 challenge? Tell us your experience!
I'm getting wrecked. T_T
8 AM? Wtf. I remember when it was 4 AM. That was much better.
Content Updates go out a little later than full patches.
Ahhh I can't wait any longer Magyst!! On a side note, are we getting a roadmap or video sometime soon on what we can expect for STW this year?

Personally, I would go Tiger with double headshot perks if you are pretty accurate. This has huge damage potential and the Tiger is pretty accurate.

Don't forget the bullet right under that last one :)
A lot of these are going to be changing once the new Hero Loadout launches. Please keep that in mind ;)
Can we expect any Xbox performance fixes any time soon.
STW is literally unplayable on Xbox right now. I hate accidentally forgetting I should avoid the hover board, leading to being thrown across the map after a delay, then spawning with empty hands unable to shoot and hover board sound effects for the rest of the game.
Edit: just logged in and got an example from my first game. This happens pretty much every time, usually leading to being unable to fire the weapon for a minute or two.
We're still digging into the submitted reports. We have a couple of outliers that we're investigating. We know it's a huge painpoint right now for console players.
At least you didn't make the grave mistake of dumping 2800 into ice king.
I wouldn't regret that decision just yet. Remember, each Hero will have their place in the new Hero Loadout system. It isn't a bad idea to pick up any and all Heroes that you can get.
I want to have a look at the new system. I don't even care about ETA just a look at it. So tired of speculation
I know you're eagerly awaiting more information regarding the Hero System. We just need to finalize a few more things with the system before we can release any information.
newbies. Again, I am talking from a perspective of a new player here. He purchased a hero from a shop, that hero will eventually be different. Which he thinks is not fair, which I kinda see his point. But no point in arguing, people here refuse to look at this from any other perspective than their high level one. Carry on.
I definitely understand that point of view. We mentioned in our Item Reset Post that when the Hero Loadout launches the Heroes will be eligible for reset to get back any invested materials.
So since this a content update, will that include the hero update or is that "next" patch?
There hasn't been a concrete date given for Hero Loadout yet. We're still tweaking some stuff before we can release it. I wouldn't expect it to be in January.
