Thank you guys for putting time and effort into resolving performance for Mac, which I'm sure represents a small minority of players! Performance took a dive on my 2013 mac pro back in patch 8.3. The recent patch seems to have made a major improvement to in-game performance. The lag when looking toward player built structures is nearly gone. FPS performance is much better. I haven't had the game totally freeze in the past several days, which is awesome.
I am still having the game crash about every 2-3 rounds. My graphics are not on 'low' settings. The most recent one happened immediately after getting eliminated and trying to return to lobby.
Any recommendations for settings or things I can do? Thanks!

I was using View distance: Far Shadows: Off Anti-Aliasing: High Textures: High Effects: Medium Post Processing: Medium
My PC specs are Gtx 1080 8gb Intel core I5-7600K 16GB Ram 2TB HDD 250GB SSD
It happend for the whole game, Buildings were accessable it was only the floors/grass that were invisible.
This is the first time it happend to me and hasn't happend again yet

Thanks for the feedback, we're aware that it's not ideal visual feedback when it's turned off but wanted to get the change out as quickly as possible. The plan moving forward is to disable the fan blades from rotating and to make the purple part (that glows) look like it's turned off.
