I think the general law in life is to never say never about anything.

Since we implemented all those factors though, we haven’t had to unban anyone due to a mistake:

We have auto hack detection in addition to every ban going past at least 2 staff members, as well as strict banning guidelines AND if there is any doubt as to whether someone is cheating or not - we don’t ban

I have deleted a post where a support ticket was shared showing a player’s private details.

As per community guidelines, do not share tickets from support agents here please.

I encourage you to contact support directly and privately if you wish to discuss a ban, but more importantly, if the BANNED player has questions I encourage them to contact support directly to have their questions answered and then if you have questions, you can ask that player directly and they can share what they want about the situation.

IP2 staff will never discuss the contents of a ticket with another user because we value all our players’ privacy highly.

I will leave this topic open as long as no more private conversations or private details are shared here. If they are shared again I will have to lock this post as sharing private information is very serious.

These troops are the ones referred to as being apart of the pool of new Troops, these are available from Adventure chests,
Obviously excluding Dark Smith, Faerie Gobmother and Hoard Mimic.

I’ll add these to the 6.2 Patch notes thread to prevent any further confusion

The fix for this has just been released!
So it should be coming into effect shortly, a force close and restart may be required.

Just I thought I’d share in here a quick update in regards to Faction Event Weekends going forward…
We will still be running our weekly one-day Faction event while also continuing to run Weekend Factions, now that all Factions have been released!

Are we only noticing this when it is the Saga pre-battle screen? Or generally on pre-battle screens?

Just confirming that it wasn’t a Dev who locked the thread… it was the community itself.
One of the upsides of our forum software (Discourse) is that it allows the community to self moderate.

So if something happens while Devs are offline, the community is able to lock threads and hide posts by reporting it.

There is a trust system to protect against the system being abused, if you make false reports your trust score is reduced so that your reports won’t affect anything.

So the forum bot can take action based on community reports and flags and then during business hours a dev can check the reports that were made and check to see if the community guidelines were really broken or not and unhide the posts or unlock the threads.

Community self moderation is our preferred type of moderation, we would prefer to only step in when there’s guidelines being broken badly and community members haven’t moderated it themselves or if we see that the community moder...

Hello all,

Just to clarify, warnings and bans are submitted to player accounts manually and not always automated.
This means that you can receive a warning/ban after something has been posted into chat, potentially a day or so after.

If this was based on repeated posting, it would warn to not spam chat instead.

While this is a warning and not a ban, we do have a Support ticket system for Ban Appeals.
