Guild Wars thread so I won’t go too far into it but, this is the same way PVP was before as well.
Currently we’re mid-PVP rework with more features coming though.
We know it’s more fun to compete with and against friends.

I often paraphrase or summarise because I don’t have time to go into the specifics if they’ve already been posted by other players or myself in the past. Not great for anyone new to the discussion sometimes, but anyone who is that deep in it knows what I’m referring to, otherwise I will take the time to try to expand on things.

EDIT: I always go into the details when reporting to the team. Thought I’d add this as I realised the above comment could be taken that I paraphrase when reporting too.

Ooh, you team build a bit differently to me, I’m always trying to avoid putting mythic troops near the front, I’ll have to try some of these out to see how they work for me.

I have a great Lord of Slaughter team with him at the front though, found it really fun to play with.

Hey, I really want to apologise for the wait time on your ticket.

I went to check its status and I see it falls into a lower priority request type and there is a bit of a wait time on these.

It’s Thursday here now, and we still have quite a few higher priority requests we need to resolve before the weekend so we’ll endeavor to get back to you next week.

I’ve also bumped up the request for this to be something players can do in game themselves instead of needing assistance from customer experience.

I feel this one in my bones. I really want this too. This is the sort of request that is easier to say yes to because it’s a UI/Usability request so hopefully we can have a positive outcome with this one.

We are looking at allowing PVP Goals to be collected individually so that you can pick up a booster when you’re ready to use it.

I think what I’d love to see on the side of the whole to nerf or not to nerf discussion that would be actually really awesome would be a thread in the Guides section where everyone contributes Teams to counter the Stellarix/Wand of Stars meta and other looping Teams.

Obviously this is a whole thing that needs to be addressed in some way (I have my fingers crossed those 2 changes in PVP will sort it out enough), but it would also be really cool to see real practical help from the community in the meantime for people (most people) struggling fighting against this team.

Honestly it would also be sorta wholesome.

The fact is you’re all fantastic team builders especially when you work together and I love to see it.

HOO BOY - I wrote a lot - sorry in advance for the read time on this one - classic Kafka wall of text posting.

You’re using an endgame crafted only Troop and 2 Mythics and a fully levelled Hero Class. This is not what I would consider an easy strategy for most players. Just throwing this perspective in the mix.

It’s good you’re sharing your strategy though for other players with those things, it’s really helpful in these sorts of discussions!!!

I can probably offer up another team as well later when I have time with less mythics on it. Although tbh I feel like sometimes I have more trouble collecting Legendaries ...

Hey, you may have noticed how much we’re engaging in the PVP and Guild Wars feedback lately - this is the direction we’re heading in regarding communication about feedback - as time permits.

I recently found this blog post from a game dev (who doesn’t work for us - so this is a generalisation) that explains some of the difficulties:

I think I found what’s causing the issue and I left notes for the team.
It was an unexpected interaction with another system.

So we currently don’t need any further info.

@Sylwani @Risa do you remember the names of the players who should have finished above you?

The issue isn’t that they’re getting the reward/placement in someone else’s ladder at all.
They’re placing correctly in their own ladder.

The issue the ladder isn’t being displayed correctly it seems.

So everything is running exactly as expected on the game server but the people reporting this issue aren’t being shown what the server is saying.

Either way though you need to be able to see what is actually happening correctly.
I just wanted to clarify this isn’t caused by ...

I’ve let the development team know about this issue!

I’m sure the OP knew this and thought they had all 3 traits unlocked and just made a simple mistake.

It’s also easy to misremember details like whether or not you’d traited something or taken some other action and what the timing of it was when you’re potentially playing hundreds of battles across different game modes etc.

Mistakes like this aren’t a reflection on anyone’s knowledge, experience, skill level or credibility.

We’re all only human after all
