Quick clarification:

Previously, we included a change to the Dragonhunter skill "True Shot" that would allow you to move at 50% speed while channeling. The True Shot movement change won't be releasing on August 23rd - the release note was included here erroneously and has since been removed.

We've been experimenting with the change to help improve longbow usability in PvE content, but the change could have some negative implications to PvP and WvW, where the skill's current telegraph is very important for counterplay. We're going to keep thinking about how to address the problem and may revisit it down the road.

Thank you for the shoutout and well wishes! Speaking of birthdays, it's hard to believe that Guild Wars 2's tenth birthday is just around the corner. I was just a whippersnapper when Guild Wars 2 entered my life. Fast forward ten years and the gray hairs seem to be sprouting up daily. I'm sure it's probably because of my age, not the job, right? :)

Experienced groups will swap classes a lot in between bosses and Emboldened should not reactivate on players after we have chosen to disable it. It should stay off for the whole instance after we deactivate it unless we choose to reactivate it ourselves. Thanks!

  • Zephyrite Weapons: These 3 (+3) weapons don’t exist yet, but they’re in the pipeline. They were unfortunately pushed out last year in the lead up to End of Dragons, and we weren’t able to get them done in time for this year’s festival. While it's hard to make guarantees this far out, I expect them to be in for next year’s festival.

  • Weapon Boxes: This is a fair complaint – we weren’t able to adjust them for this year’s Four Winds, but expect to see a single-box version in this year's Halloween (more weapons for Halloween confirmed?). For what it's worth, the two boxes in Four Winds aren't strictly sharing drop chance, so it's more like you're getting extra weapon boxes compared to last year - but that's invisible drop-table-math and it's not fun to get the old box when you hoped for the new one.
