@HuntShowdownOfficial what do you consider a gameplay session?

A gameplay session would refer to the time you play Hunt from opening the game, to closing it! It could be one, or 10 games within 1 session.

Looks like that door really knocked you out! 😉 Just a reminder that doors can be blown or shot open, and yes, the force can pack enough punch to down a Hunter if you’re in the way. Doors can be deadly too!

Black Coat will always be my favorite (until the next release, of course! 😄), but his swagger is truly unmatched

We miss it too! With the engine update complete, both Lawson Delta and DeSalle are now undergoing reworks to improve quality. They’ll be gradually reintroduced to the game one by one with major updates.

Edit: Crytek responded to this post in a comment response to this one. - It's not a crossover or collaboration and is an original design!

Original Comment: I hope I'm wrong... but my guess would be a Predator franchise crossover. Considering the wording of the skull taker and the most recent predator film (Prey - 2022) was set in the old western times. It's not out of the realms of possibility.

I'd personally much rather a new unique hunter that is loosly inspired by the crocodile hunter Steve Irwin if Crytek are sticking with the crocodile theme for the skins.

The Taker of Trophies DLC will stand on its own, and does not feature any IP crossover or collaboration. It features the fierce Skull Taker, driven by primal pride.

Like the other Times of Day, Thundershower is also being updated following the engine upgrade! It will return in a future update, so keep an eye out for announcements on the timing.

Where is the nitro in all this? The nerfs to wall penetration damage have lobotomized the nitro and made it all but unusable.

We have now updated the post to include the Nitro as well!

Excited to see how this pans out. That’s a huge decrease in time (even if it’s milliseconds) and I think this could really give a positive feel to the game. I appreciate you guys keeping us in the loop.

We’re glad to hear that! We’re working to improve our communication moving forward.

Hunters,

With our latest Halloween Event, we have revealed our first IP collaboration with the Ghost Face Rampage DLC. We acknowledge that this step has stirred up some feelings of frustration within the community, and we appreciate the fact that the response is coming from a place of loyalty and love for the game.

With that in mind, we want to assure you that the introduction of IP collaborations is focused on working with brands that blend well with the world of Hunt, while staying true to themselves. We feel these new characters and personalities allow us to continue to build unique and interesting stories within the Hunt mythos, while welcoming new players into our world through the use of familiar faces.

We understand the concerns expressed—nobody wants to see Hunt lose its roots in the pursuit of new content and players. All of our endeavors to reach out to new audiences and expand our community will prioritize maintaining a balance between the co...

Hello Reddit,

I wanted to give you an update on the anti-cheat strategy that we are putting in place and what we are working on in the future to deter cheaters.

Since introducing our Fair Play Task Force, we have decided to focus on two key points when it comes to cheaters. The first is reducing the time to react when someone is hindering the game's fairness and making faster sanctions against these people.  The second is to improve the accuracy of our systems by gathering compelling evidence against players we strongly suspect of cheating and being able to quickly ban them.

What the Upgrades Have Brought

Groundwork

With Update 2.0, we upgraded our anti-cheater service (Easy Anti-Cheat, referred to going forward as EAC) alongside our workflows. With this update, we have seen a huge uptick of cheaters which we otherwise might not have found manually. In total, we have banned over 2,300 people since the...

Hunters,

We would like to take a moment to apologize for any confusion surrounding the backend update released yesterday. By referring to it as an “update” we might have inadvertently raised expectations, which has caused some frustration in the community.

To provide some context, our Fair Play Task Force has recently identified an exploit that allowed to equip all scarce and pact traits simultaneously, which could significantly affect gameplay if left unchecked. By the time we implemented the backend update, around 240 accounts had already used this exploit, and we had to act swiftly to prevent it from spreading further. This led us to roll out a standalone backend update focused mainly on addressing this issue.

In parallel to this, our team is hard at work preparing for the release of Update 2.0.2, which will be going through the certification process next week with a release soon after. This update will focus more on the community-reported and re...
