A stutter issue than I and many others have been having. Just sitting in the main lobby, not moving at all (it happens in gameplay just the same). I get massive frametime spikes every 30 seconds, like clockwork. I even timed it. It is EXACTLY 30 seconds a stutter will occur. This didn't happen in the early version of the beta. This started happening after one of the balance patches during the beta and hasn't been fixed yet. As of right now, the game is unplayable for me. These stutters are so large the game freezes for half of a second, every 30 seconds. Hopefully this can be figured out...
Here's another thread of someone having the same exact issue: https://www.reddit.com/r/HYPERSCAPE/...er_hyperscape/
PC Specs:
1440p @ 144hz Gsync
i7 10700k @ 4.8GHz
GTX 1080 Ti @ stock clocks
16gb 3400MHz RAM
Windows 10 64bit ver. 2004
Latest Nvidia drivers
EDIT: Someone found the solution to this issue. A DLL file from Discord is somehow interacting with Hyper Scape and causing the stutter every 30 seconds (even if there's no Discord service is running in the background). Not sure how that's possible, but the steps in the guide solved my problem.
TLDR Fix Just uninstall Discord and then delete both 'discord' folders in the "Appdata>Local" and "Appdata> Roaming" folders on your main C drive. You have to delete these folders, or else the fix won't work. Here is the guide: Fix for Frametime/FPS Spikes exactly every 30 seconds
