Hello!

Just like the hacks, we want to see what everyone thinks of the weapons. We have heard a lot about the Hexfire, to be sure, and it will have changes in the future. Please let us know any constructive feedback you have for any of the weapons in the Technical Test!

Hey there r/HyperScape!

By now you should have had some experience with the 9 HACKS available during our Technical Test.

If you need a refresher the 9 HACKS are:

Please give us your feedback on the HACKS so far. Which are favourites? What tweaks would you like to see made to some? All constructive feedback is greatly appreciated and we'll be sure to pass your feedback onto the Development Team.

Hey again guys.

Some of you have provided extra info below and that's great. I've been asked if you could provide the following information to help with troubleshooting:

  • When precisely did the crashes occur? At the start of the match when the countdown is finished and when the pods are being launched? Mid countdown? When entering the lobby with other players?
  • Is it a crash to desktop? Is Uplay crashing too?
  • Is it possible to get a screenshot of the "generic crash message"? (please send me an imgur link or something I can easily share)
  • PC specs

Make sure you update your video card drivers to the latest version, and be sure you have a card that supports Vulkan. ~Graeme

Why did you decide to use the Siege engine (Anvil Next?), for a game like this? What advantages does what was considered a “Frankenstein” engine have compared to some of the other tech that’s in Ubisoft?

Starting with Rainbow 6 Siege gave us the opportunity to start with tech and server architecture which had already shipped and been improved over the years. This is obviously a very different game so we had to implement a lot of different tech to achieve the 99 player count and map size of Neo Arcadia. ~JC

Launching a game during all of this has been the second* biggest challenge of my career. The core of the team is still working from home, and the production has gone very smoothly despite all these challenges.
