Edit: This patch will be released at 2019-08-09T15:00:00Z.
Patch 0.7.2 forms part of Phase 1 of our Early Access Development Forecast.
This patch focuses on raising the quality of aspects of the game implemented previously. It brings significant graphical improvements, it introduces the first batch of voice acting, it makes NPCs more realistic, and continues our work on improving the UI.
In it's current state no. I regret buying it. I realize it still very much in development, but I can already tell it's a disappointment for me. I look at the characters and think it would be really cool to play this build or that build. Unfortunately as with most arpg's though only a few builds are remotely viable to reach top tier. Everything else is weak and clunky. There isn't really an in between. I feel like the dev's want you to play each character a certain way and all the other builds are just there to make it hard to figure out how you are supposed to play. Most skill options are useless or just lead to what you really need so you have to spec them.
I'm sorry to hear that you have been disappointed when playing the game.
Though I would ask whether it's possible your balance expectations may be unrealistic for a beta? It is absolutely not our intention to have a small number of 'correct' ways to play a class or skill - however properly balancing a game takes a long time, and it would delay the game's release if we felt obligated to do a large balance pass each time we release a patch. Last Epoch is scheduled to be officially launched in April 2020, and balance will be much improved at release and beyond. :)
Ah found a potential cause of this, thank you for pointing this out!
Thanks I’m glad you’re having fun.
Thanks for the report, we will be looking in to how these are behaving. No changes for the upcoming patch however.
ty, fix’d
good catch, you’re right, it’s only supposed to affect necrotic abilities, I’m working on it for the next patch.
Hi there, I’m sorry to be the bearer of bad news but we can’t do anything to get the gear back at the moment. When gear goes online then we could probably do something for you.
If you experience a crash again, please grab the output log file before starting the game again and send it to us. When the game starts up, it clears the output log.
I’m trying to recreate the crash but as of yet it’s stable for me. I’m taking a closer look at those nodes to make sure that they are solid and working as intended.
Sorry about the items bud.
Yea, it’s a tough one, I just checked it and it is behaving as the tooltip says it does. I think we will probably look in to having the tooltips for the stats in the character sheet display more detailed information. So if you moused over the overall shock chance, then it would show you your spell, melee, bow and throwing shock chances. This won’t be in this next patch.
I’m doing some work on these nodes right now. I saw your other post about them only giving melee damage which I’ve fixed. I might increase their duration I think. Seems like the best way to make it useful without being over powered. Keep us updated on how it feels though as we’ll keep working on it.

Thanks for the report, we’re looking for a way to fix this problem.

Good catch, fixed. It will do all damage types in the next patch
Hi all, thank you for highlighting this issue. We’ll have an opportunity to dive into loading time optimizations here soon. The good and bad news here is that we haven’t yet had the bandwidth to dive in to this which means that there is likely plenty of quick wins to be had.
When our next patch launches, which is not far off, if any of you remember to come back around and let us know how this looks with the update in hand it would be helpful. I don’t expect that it will change much for 0.7.2 but having up-to-date data would be helpful.
Thanks again for taking the time to provide us reports.
I think that this has been inevitable - at least to some extent.
The Bazaar is likely to be one of the features where pre-release testing is the least representative of how things will be long-term. This doesn’t apply to all feedback - criticism regarding the UI, for example - but the economy will work differently when it has substantially more people participating in it, so we’ve been anticipating the need for changes post-release.
