Omniscience Draft is definitely not obsolete; which one we use for a given event just depends on the set and how well its mechanics work. I'll tell you that ZNR is much more likely to get a Turbo version than Omniscience, though. Decks with no lands make Landfall a lot less exciting...

EDIT: I am of course referring to the Relics deck. It clearly isn't standard legal.

2nd Edit: What the hell is going on here? The rest of the decks all look standard legal except this one?

The Relics of Yesteryear is the only deck that is Historic, because:

  • It's thematic for a deck about old things!
  • I wanted to include Hedron Archive because it's on Zendikar!
  • Nobody can stop me!

TBH, it was the same when we were testing the event. The Relics deck was, uh, quite bad at one point - it had no Ugins, it could barely compete, much less win - and people still couldn't stop jamming it. People just love mono-brown, even when it's bad.

A surprise, to be sure, but a welcome one...

Apparently we forgot to tell the tour company, so I guess you all get to enjoy the sights a bit early. :)

Interesting that they didn't include Omnath in the ban, but there are probably enough answers/interaction historic where it won't be dominant.

We're gonna find out.

UnspokenRealms is correct in that clicking any card in a pile of identical cards will reroute that click to the topmost card instead. Cards get piled together if they are identical (based on many criteria), so the result should be equivalent--in theory. If a pile has attachments and/or exiles in it, then clicks will not be rerouted.

As for the triple Fervent Champion case, a fix had been deployed months ago. So unless the behavior has regressed--which does not appear to be the case after double-checking--getting all three Champions to 2/1 is very much possible, although there will always be room for UI improvements. Remember to use the mouse to hover the Fervent Champions' triggered abilities on the stack to see what creature has been targeted.
