The simplest formula is:
Total Mythics = (Packs/7.4) + (Packs/30)

7.4 is the drop rate (you get 1 Mythic on average in every 7.4 packs) and Mythic WCs in packs replace only Mythics so you can count them as the same here if you're willing to spend them.

Packs/30 is for the Mythic Wild Card you get from the Wild Card wheel for every 30 packs you open.

Hello! I have made a reply to this post, but I feel that yours still deserves a WotC reply.

I was careful to word my replies on Discord as ZNR had not been publicly spoiled yet, so I couldn't say that the number of rares and mythics had changed.

Your formula here seems in the ballpark for "Using Opened MWC," but it doesn't tell me how you reached your "Not Using MWC" numbers, which appear well outside of my expectations. For example, the Packs/30 factor for ZNR approximates that you will earn ~15.8 mythic wild cards in 475 packs (and...

Hello! I was about to respond to this thread, but it has fallen off of the front page and this one has replaced it since I created this account and got it approved by the mods. I am the same person from Discord mentioned in replies to that post.

Very interesting. This likely should instead result in a selection of what to attach the sword to, but the words "attach Ancestral Blade to it" mean the parser didn't think that was necessary. We'll try to fix this soon, but it likely won't make it live for a little while. Thanks for the report! #wotc_staff

Yargle population control is an important part of any ecosystem.

Okay, but real talk - when you make the games to revolve around a 9-power creature (and there are 9 copies of it), things can end FAST and MESSILY. It's nice to balance out the times when you get your head knocked in by a giant frog with no way to fight back with times when you carefully use your resources to scrape out a well-fought win.

Also, it took a while to understand why they made this event. Silly americans with your random dates.

This is the way.
