Well, it's called a job. If it would be fun, you wouldn't get payed to do it ;)
My job is fun. Lots of jobs are fun. They become less fun when people go out of their way to make them less fun, so let's just not do that.

I absolutely love my job, and it is a ton of fun! It is even more fun when people are nice and follow the rules. :slightly_smiling_face:

Since I'll never give up, this will indeed be along thread. I especially will not give up because of childish insults, or because someone makes an offhand snarky remark online.

As such each day I will post until they see that this is a good idea.
That's not cool, friend. Please don't do that.
Why? I mean I am not trying to be defiant, but I have a goal and no one is required to post or read my threads. As such I fail to see how it would violate any ToS. If it does, let me know so I can A. Stop posting, and B find some place else to take my free time and business to.

I am required to read your posts. Spamming through repeated posts/flooding forums is against our ...

It's a difficult problem to tackle, but to do so, we're changing how Wildcards work for Historic cards. Starting after an update in November, crafting a Historic card will require you to redeem two Wildcards of the appropriate rarity instead of one.

^ Me when reading this for the third time.
After a lot of very welcome changes, this feels kinda out of place.
How does doubling the cost of Historic cards help... with anything? Could this be explained further? Did I even read it right?
Out of my head I can't think of any argument on this change helping to build up a good non-rotating format.
This is one odd thing within a lot of good ideas, as I see it. But it confuses me nontheless

Will historic exclude all cards from standard?

Nope! Standard cards are legal in Historic.

So cards I can't use in most formats cost more to craft?

There are a lot of knobs and levers behind the scene we're flipping to try to balance the long term health of the game with players' abilities to craft cards. This is a tough balancing act. This pricing is where the team landed for wildcard redemption, and to offset this, we will be providing other avenues for players to add these cards to their collections such as through Historic events in November, Historic drafts, and future monthly Historic events.

Again, as with any change to the economy, we’ll be monitoring both player behavior in-game and player feedback. If a card is reprinted into a Standard set you will only pay one Wildcard for that version and it can be used in Historic (only the old version costs 2).
