  • Fixed a crash that occurred when the player encountered a settlement under siege by an allied army.
  • Fixed a crash that occurred when leaving an alley empty and claiming another alley.
  • Fixed a crash that occurred while playing certain animations with certain blend values.

Fixes
  • Fixed a bug that caused the weight of crafted items to double when loading a saved game.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the player to get wounded in simulation battles.
  • Fixed memory leaks that occurred after a new sandbox/campaign game or when loading an old one.

  • Fixed a crash that occurred while saving the game.
  • Fixed a crash that occurred when clearing a rival alley in a civilian mission while an alley attack event was ongoing.

Fixes
  • Fixed a set of bugs that were causing the renown & influence gains to show incorrect values on the scoreboard (in map events that had multiple parties/armies on the winning side).

For modders, this affects the following classes:
  • MobileParty.cs
  • MapEventSide.cs
  • AlleyCampaignBehavior.cs

Greetings all,

We've got some important news to share. Callum has decided to move on to new professional challenges and is as such no longer with the company. We would like to thank him for his contributions over the years and wish him all the best in his future endeavors.

I was entrusted with the responsibility to lead the community team at the company. What does that mean moving forward? We're currently re-evaluating the various goals, tasks and responsibilities of the community team. While it's a tad early to say - we are hoping to expand the "hired" team to help me cover some of those responsibilities. We hope to share more information around that with you in the following weeks.

There were essentially no voice lines prior to 1.0, so a slider would have had little function.

  • Fixed a crash that could occur in the crafting screen when using the confirm shortcut.
  • Fixed a crash that happened after peace was declared while the player is in an army.
Fixes
  • Fixed another set of renown & influence gain related bugs that occurred in defensive fights and when assisting another party in their encounter.
  • Fixed a bug which caused the leading parties to not show up on the sally out battle menu.
  • Fixed a bug which caused the scroll bar handle to not be resized correctly, making it appear much smaller than intended.

This sticky contains patch notes for hotfixes to the Beta game version that incremented the game version as well as those that did not increment the game version / introduce a new branch to Steam (or other platforms). These types of updates are sometimes necessary to address critical issues without going through additional certification processes that may cause a delay. They will usually be reserved for urgent Singleplayer and Multiplayer stability fixes or logging adjustments that provide us with additional information on such issues.

This will happen more commonly on active Beta branches, but may also occur for the current Live/main branch.

No, banners are not required. My two new games started with this bug. No mods, no cheats.

It seems to be related to having banner bearers in the mission. (Without them present, you should gain renown/influence normally.) We are working on a fix for it.
