We have been investigating some of the potentially sus Trading Post contracts - all are legitimate, but some are being investigated as bots which we are reviewing. Nothing looks like a dupe is present though. We will continue to investigate.
If anyone is aware of a dupe issue, please send those reports to the exploit email. Instructions are somewhere in the official posts section of the forums.
In episode six of Forged in Aeternum we focus on the amazing audio of New World with host Jean-Edouard Miclot (Audio Director). Jean-Edouard is joined by Kyle Bailey (Sound Designer) and Michael Finley (Senior Sound Designer) to discuss their favorite sounds from the ASMR of UI sounds to distant chatters.
The team tells the stories behind the sounds, they also tease some audio Easter eggs, there’s a cameo from a familiar face, and more.

Al llegar estas fechas navideñas, algunos miembros del equipo se van a tomar un descanso para estar con su familia y seres queridos. Thank you for helping us make 2022 an amazing year here in Aeternum. As the holidays rapidly approach, some of the New World team will be taking some time to spend with their families and loved ones. Please be patient while awaiting non-critical (critical meaning things like maintenance notices, service outages, or updates) communication from us as the team will be operating at reduced capacity.
We hope you all are able to take some time with your friends, family, and loved ones this season as well. We look forward to an exciting year ahead and can’t wait to continue working with our players to see New World grow.
