Hey, this is intentional but only temporary.

Last night we released a hotfix that reduces combat experience gained within the PoH by 90% whilst we look into current methods being used to gain accelerated amounts of combat experience.

The newspost has been updated and it'll be posted on our socials in the next few minutes.

Feedback on clarity:

The spell descriptions use all of the terms "cycle", "tick", and "0.6 seconds" at different points. I think this would be easier to follow and less jarring to read if the same terminology was used throughout. I get the impression "cycle" is the preferred, based on quantity of usage, so perhaps including a definition of a cycle, as a 0.6 second game interval, also known as a tick?

Sorry this happened! We're implementing a coldfix today which should fix this problem. The countdown has started so hang tight and it'll be fixed soon :)

ressurection spells: remains to be seen how many dmg they add but if they ignore accuracy checks, could be pretty big. As far as I understand, meele one will hit 0-3 at complete random. So 1.5 dmg per hit on avg. 2.4sec timer on hits. So for example with my 86 magic, I can expect one meele guy to do 31.5 dmg during its 51.6sec alive time. Not game breaking but sounds like nice little extra help!

Vile Vigour - remains to be seen where it will be used but during skilling prayer points conversion to run energy might really come in handy in places where u can recharge prayer easily

ward of arceus - reduced dmg from demonic foes by 25%. Sounds like a thing you could use against cerberus or kril

Good to hear they are official Intermediate. When the polls said Novice, I questioned that since their reqs felt more Intermediate. Maybe someday we'll get a quest journal rework with new sorting and filtering with an option to sort by difficulty. Also, I'd love to see the starting screen reworked to list difficulty, length, etc and keep that info after you start. Hopefully, with the focus on new player stuff such a rework is being considered. Bit off topic now, but I think some of the issue with things like the skeleton in The Restless Ghost, which was polled to be made lower level, is that it only warns you about a level 13 monster before you start the quest. So if you chat with an NPC, accept the quest, and then check the journal, you currently miss those warnings, which is not ideal.

We did some behind the scenes improvements to the quest system earlier this year. That work should make it easier to add sorting and filtering now.
