Ash worked that one out and fixed it quickly, so credit to him on this one!

I've passed this on to Mod Dom for you.

Yeah that's what I was referring to, I just didn't word my comment very well. I just dont see the upside to not polling the fremmy boots as well. You're already going to be polling the dragon boots/bandos boots so it's not like you're creating a whole poll just for 1 pair of boots that you think will pass anyway.

Again, I wouldn't be surprised if it passed either, but I think a lot of the complaints you guys get could be mitigated by just polling instead of avoiding a poll because you think itll pass. Take the elven chatheads, for example. The team liked the look and put them in game because they believed it was an improvement, but many in the community disagreed. If they would've just been polled beforehand people could've just said yes or no and we both would've avoided having to read complaints about it for weeks. I think the key takeaway from all that is that a lot of problems would be avoided by just polling things that aren't game integrity issues instead of saying "e...

We'd likely save it for when we have the opportunity to poll it with other things - as you said - we're unlikely to have a poll with a single question :P

I don't think this situation is comparable to the elven chathead situation as the fremmy boots have already been changed in the past and most were still not pleased with those changes. Although - as I previously said - it would make sense to poll the dboots/bandos boots regardless of my belief in it passing.

So how did bloodvelds and nechs get replaced with greater variant versions when poll was 71% yes ?

It sounds like you're looking at the poll results on the website. Unfortunately these take the Skipped votes into account when calculating the percentages. The final result of that question was 84.7% in favour.

Now when you have a knife in your inventory and go to click on a web it says you need a sharp blade to cut it. The only way to cut a web now with a knife is to click the knife and use it on the web. I don't know if that was intentional or if it's been mentioned but it was very frustrating clicking the web in the forthos dungeon today for 10 minutes.. I had clan chat open and didn't understand why I couldn't cut the web.

This is caused by having a weapon without a slash bonus equipped when you try to cut the web. This is being hotfixed.

Nice suggestion - I'll pass this on to Mod Kieren.

If it hasn't been stated yet, left clicking a web with just a knife no longer works, and you habe to manually click the knife then click the web.

Are you still having this issue? I've tried using a Knife from my inventory to left-click Slash a web and it worked. Edit: We've found the issue. If you have a weapon equipped without a Slash bonus, that fails the check and the next check to see if you have a Knife in your inventory isn't happening. This is being hotfixed.

I've flagged to put her missing ponytail back. Looks like she sneakily ran to the hairdressers mid-way through designing and development.

What about for PVM? I was mostly concerned about the impact it has on safe spotting!

I'm going to guess you may not have read the news post today. Have a read over this section and your worries will be gone.

This week the beta continues but with a new version of the line-of-sight algorithm. Now, when a player is not interacting with another player, the existing live algorithm is used, meaning the behaviour in PvM situations will not change. When interacting with other players, the new algorithm will be used. This will prevent one-way safe spots in PVP.

You'll note the changes now only effect PvP which is to specifically fix an issue where 1 player may attack the other without the possibility of retaliation despite looking like retaliation can occur.
