jsut logged in, chose my main char and got a "cant connect to the server" somthing like 2 secs later, but i did loose my weapons and armor and when ever i try to load my char the same happens, my other chars are completly fine.

Full inventory wipe, was in a match made group running expeditions, Xbox x was kicked, can't access servers at all. Between 6 8 est yesterday lvl 30 trickster I did play the demo

Read moreFriends and I created alt's to try and recreate the bug to better try to avoid it, we successfully recreated the bug 4 times over 20 attempts. Friend also experienced the bug half way through the game leveling our mains.
Steps we took to recreate the bug:
- Alt's created and skipped through prologue to get gear faster.
- Joined on each other in rift town.
- Proceeded to start side-mission to save Shop Girl.
- At sign of auto save both non host players force a disconnect in our case alt-f4ing or force closing the application through task manager.
- Reconnect to host. (After this point if the player loaded in without any gear visible/character invisible we had a 100% success rate of recreating the inventory bug.)
- As soon as loading in force close the game again.
- Sign back in check gear.
We never successfully recreated the bug if the disconnected player loaded in and had their gear equipped or wasn't invi...

If I could make a suggestion regarding the info?
I would add in there which platform the users are playing from. I believe all platforms are being affected by this issue, but if a data pull is requested you can sort the data by platform and see which platforms are more heavily affected.

No - there is only a risk of encountering a bug that would trigger the wipe. It is not guaranteed and it is not happening to everyone or consistently, which is what makes this difficult to identify and reproduce on our side.
Sorry i had a pseudo wipe and im not sure it helps, i spent something like 30 seconds joining a random lobby and came in with no gear, everything wiped, and then 15 seconds later all my gear got restored as it was. So i didnt lose anything but assuming it autosaved at that point in time i would be ass naked atm.
It was random join, with crossplay on, in the evening of EU.
Thanks for the info - that sounds like what should happen if there is a blip with the database being momentarily unavailable (e.g. the gear reappears). I don't believe it's related to this particular wipe issue we're seeing today, but any and all information is nonetheless helpful, so thank you!
So for clarity, it's safe to do multiplayer as long as you don't do so from the outriders camp?
The outriders camp appears to have a higher rate of this issue occurring, but I don't believe it's the only instance where it can occur.
2pm EST. Was in an expedition. Lost connection to host. When I returned to lobby my primary rifle was gone.
Was a Dev class. Was random. Crossplay was off at the time. I did play the Demo. Charcters name is Conner.
Was it just your primary rifle? Everything else remained intact?
Might need to add if the lobby was Open/Friends Only/Closed.

Single player appears to be at a lower risk than multiplayer, but it does not appear to be immune. The idea behind this thread is to continue to shed more light on this situation.

Do we need to do anything as far as the wiped character not being able to be played after the wipe? Sub a ticket? Or when this fix goes thru will we be able to play it again
At this point in time the inventory restorations will be automatic, no ticket submission required as we will be running a rule on our database to automatically identify any users who have been affected.
We may ask you to open a ticket with customer support if the automatic restoration isn't successful for you in particular.

Is there any way to just give the party leader full control? Having to even hit Y now when traveling from place to place or activity to activity is extremely annoying. I don’t see any issues with giving the leader full control. Like what oh he’s going into an area you don’t want to go into? Then communicate or just leave. No one’s forcing you to be in this person’s session.
I believe there should be something to help with this in the follow up patch that we have later down the road.

Is there any way to toggle LAN mode?
As my wife and I really shouldn't be getting any yellow/ red network icons when playing together on the same network, but in the evenings (during peak times when Europe and America are playing), we do, which completely hampers our experience. The guest starts rubberbanding, while the host is fine.
But it's absolutely fine during the day, during off peak hours.
I believe It should trigger automatically if it detects you're on the same network or if it detects that the relays would result in too high a ping.
Which platform are you on? We haven't yet made the same changes for PlayStation, and it's possible the no-relay may work between different platforms.
What about the Bug when u run any mission and interact with objects that u have 60 FPS ? I mean my Game runs smooth on 120 / Uncapped but if i interact with anything my FPS decreased to 60 and i have to press ESC or Inventory to uncap the FPS again...
This is a known issue, but I don't think the fix will be in the upcoming patch as we had to slim down this patch to get it out faster.
The bug you're describing should be fixed as part of our later patch.
