6 per event, and each event lasts for 3 weeks.
We weren’t just talking about the remixed Legendary skins. That said, we agree with what many have already shared here and think that lots of folks are going to appreciate the new look of fan favorites (seriously, did you see the remixed Cultist Zen skin? )
No ExCard this go-round, however be sure to keep an eye out for other beloved April Fool elements.
We have no plans to bring back the Pink Mercy skin or icons.
Hiya folks,
With today’s tease of the Overwatch Anniversary Remix 1 event, we wanted to talk about what you can expect from Remix events, and what this means for popular in-game events like Archives, Summer Games, and Anniversary in the lead-up to Overwatch 2.
Like standard Anniversary events, Remix events will throw open the vault doors, allowing you to unlock every skin normally available during these events, plus all new “remixed” Legendary skins. These offer a spin on our ‘greatest hits’ with new looks for some of the most popular skins ever released, and you can look forward to six of them per Remix event.

I do not handle the beta invites for the broader community. That’s managed through another team and is well beyond the scale any one individual person could/should manage.

First, thank you so much for this incredibly illustration. I appreciate your work.

This would place those stationary pings as often as possible, but even if we didn’t automatically place these pings, Sombra could simply ping nearby them instead to convey the same data in a slightly less user-friendly way.
Each player can only place one ping in the world at a time. If th...
Read moreOverwatch 2 is introducing the highly requested ping system to the game! We’re adding this quality-of-life feature because we are dedicated to improving players’ experiences and including the community in our development strategy. Let’s dive into the inspiration, goals, and an overview of the Overwatch 2 ping system! The inspiration behind the ping system came from a value the Overwatch team holds dearly: Every Voice Matters.
This is a core value at Blizzard, and the Overwatch team wanted to personify this value in our game. We wanted to create a system that would enhance voice communication as well as provide alternative ways to share information with your team,” says systems designer Gavin Winter. “One of our goals was to augment speech and give people a way to visually interpret voice communication. We also wanted to support all voices and create a system to communicate for players that would prefer to avoid voice chat.”
