The Xbox version is indeed lacking a critical patch that was supposed to be deployed with release, but is delayed on the platform's side. We're doing everything we can to speed it up, in the worst case it should be available by monday-tuesday, if we all are lucky - today. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Currently Arcanist isn't functional both on PC and Console with the same issue. We're working on a fix on all platforms.

It's a known bug, we are working on a fix. Most likely coming in the closest update.

Yes, it's not malice. It is a honest communication disaster that happened due to missed goals - they could have averted with honesty once they reliased they'd reached their budget in money and time for what I now label the "So-called Extended Edition".

And to be honest, here's the big kicker for me: this is how CD Project Red started their long path to the Dark Side. At first it wasn't malice and we fans forgave them everytime because we liked their game, we saw where the problems came from, CRPR worked hard on fixing the issues and kept delivering. Until one day we woke up and could only say "Yes, this last one? It was indeed malice that led us here".

So be careful on that slippery slope - others have already gone down there.

I love Owlcat's games and know there's a great company with great people and do not regret having already pre-odered the next one and totally will buy the next season pass as well if the content seems interesting. But I have seen too m...

I find your lack of faith disturbing.

:D

On a serious note though, don't worry, we are the same people, with the same goals and values and same development process. Sometimes things don't go as planned, but we're commited to fix and improve for as long as it is needed.

One bug I found that is extremely distracting. When you are say for example, looting bodies after a battle, seemingly randomly the items you’re inspecting will have their information boxes start to appear behind the inventory box. Sometimes entirely blocking the description of the item. And it stays that way until you quit into console menu and restart. Happened to me twice and I’m 4 hours into the game. On PS5 and the latest patch

Known, working on a fix. However if you found a stable way to reproduce it and can record a video of that and upload it, that'd be helpful.

I still have the issue where the invisible walls are there during the opening sequence. I am on ps5.

Will be fixed with the next update. Luckily, this is purely cosmetic, only occurs in the first scene and doesn't prevent further playthrough.

Definitely feels more polished than Kingmaker - real pleased about that.

Though the "nails" hex seems ... bugged? Problematic? Not working properly on my Sylvan Trickster, Xbox series S. I picked it at level 2 but it hasn't given me any claw attacks. With no weapons equipped it just defaults to unarmed strikes - which is a real pain because I wanted to play a natural attacker.

Edit: Checked with a witch of a couple different races. Nails may be totally nonfunctional on Console?

Hello! Noted, we'll investigate.

If someone is taking the time to dig into it, please ask them to fix it so that when you open the Spellbook UI, the pop-up menu, it only shows the spells you've prepared rather than all the learned spells. That's an issue even on the PC.

I would expect that to be a part of the fix. Not sure about details, but I know that it was broken in a major way and the QA are busy dealing with that at the moment.

Critical issue.

Arcanists cannot prepare spells when using the controller UI on the PC. Prepared casters set spells to their Spellbook by highlighting one and pressing "A." Arcanist doesn't have the same prompt. You can forget spells, but not add new ones.

I assume this is also an issue on consoles. If so, it makes the class unplayable.

It's worth noting that adding spells to your Action Bar is a pain in the ass, too. Arcanists display all learned spells when you open the Spellbook menu, with no indication of which ones you actually prepared. This is admittedly a minor issue, as you physically cannot prepare spells, but it should also be fixed. Ideally you fix it on the PC UI, too.

Known, working on a fix. They have an internally different code of the spellbook to all other classes, and that one glitched after the update.

Playing on xbox, still haven't got the new patch yet, but I've encountered a few bugs I haven't seen mentioned here.

Going into any menu, character, inventory etc and then out to map screen, then bringing up the character selection it has 12 cards, 2 copies of each character. Go back into inventory and then back to map, now 18 cards. Been able to get up to 30 cards.

Retrained my kineticist into a sylvan sorcerer, can't equip any armor or weapons, I have the proficiencies.

Finnean can no longer transform into a crossbow.

Hello, please keep me informed whether the issue remains after the update.

when I start defend the tavern, it pulls up my TtA save(now deleted hoping it would fix it but it still pulls it up) and takes up the whole screen without going away

I’m able to blindly do stuff after awhile like navigate menus, but even after quick saving / loading the TtA save page will still persist

Hmm, that's something new. So when you begin the tavern defense you have a TtA loaded instead? Or is there a logo/load game menu over the screen?

Didn't say "this week" but I can confirm that it's already past the design stage and should land in one of the future updates, after the dust settles with EE and console release.

There will be more DLCs. At least 3 more are planned as a part of Season Pass 2.

Now it's gone all the comments have dried up, which is a shame, as I wanted to get more views over the next few days, and I was appreciating all the updates everyone was providing....

Odd. I'll ask the mod team.

Known, but could use more data, if you can record a video with steps to reproduce, that would be really good.
