Ok... switch still says version 1.0 but the context menues work. This is acceptable... that was three weeks to fix one button. 3 months till we can name our character?
Virtual keyboard and the DLC inclusion are already in the works, but after it took 3 weeks from creation of the fix to its actual appearance on the platform, I'm honestly not ready to give any estimates. As soon as possible.

As far as I'm aware, since it's a cloud version there will be no notifications, game should simply be already running on the new version. Can you check if the context menus work?

I, for one, totally understand and believe you (despite being one of those who chose to get a refund.) I mostly got the refund to have some kind of resolution to the situation so that the stress would stop effecting my migraine disorder (I'm disabled, and my migraines are set off extraordinarily easily.) I have every intention of getting the game once there's an actual resolution, and I thank you for being as transparent and keeping in contect with us. You're certainly getting kicked in the teeth from everyone and it's a thankless job you've got.

Patches have been going out for the other versions, so I'm not totally convinced it isn't Nintendo holding things up. If all platforms were having patches being missed, I'd be more suspicious. It'd help if we could see the actual conversations OC is having with Nintendo, instead of having to take their word for it.

Gotta give props to this guy for even being here at all. 90% of gaming studios would not be commenting/posting daily in the sub for their game. Gives me a ton of faith and hope for the future. I am also a bit frustrated with the console version and I only bought it yesterday after trying to wait. But yeah thanks for atleast being here.

You can have a rough idea of a future update roadmap by looking at the known issues list.
