Our final PTS playtest for the weekend kicks off in 5 minutes!

Alright, PTS is back up and unlocked with a possible fix for the zone crash that has been happening on Esamir. We will kick off today’s playtest at 2pm today (~36 mins from now). Hope to see you all in! #planetside2

ALERT: We’re pushing our playtest start time back to 2pm PDT, in order to get in a potential fix for the zone crash from yesterday. PTS will remain unlocked until then.

We will be bringing PTS down in a few mins and will have it back up with the crash fix prior to the 2pm playtest. Based on our findings, we believe the change should address the zone crash that disconnected everyone during yesterday’s test. But will know for certain today 😬

We have a possible fix for the zone (Esamir) crash that happened during yesterday’s playtest on #planetside2 PTS. As a result, we will be pushing today’s PTS playtest back to 2pm (Pacific - about 2.5 hrs from now) so we can get the fix tested and up... (cont)

We just published the change to PTS that we believe should help improve client performance issues related to the storm on Esamir. PTS is now back up and unlocked for login. #planetside2

PTS will be coming down for a brief time within the next hour for a publish that should improve storm-related performance. So if you get booted, now you know why. A small client download will be required on login once complete. The Esamir zone crash fix publish is still TBD
