this: I should’ve been more clear. The ability to pull vehicles from a fixed resource bank is fixed. Competing players will just use Cortium from their command center, not nanites.
Well, that is the official forum afterall. /r/Planetside is an unofficial forum.
It would be nice if RPG could post links to such official feedback threads so that it doesn't take two weeks until a random Redditor to stumbles upon it though.
Would that be possible /u/jgolenbo?
Hey, yea absolutely - this has been a really tricky issue since we see reports of voice comms problems and we know it’s happening sporadically (it happens to us too) but we haven’t as yet been able to reproduce the exact conditions in order for us to identify the root cause..
tl;dr it may be any number of things (or a combination of things) but until we can confidently identify what they are we can’t be certain anything we’re trying will be a permanent fix, or solve part of the problem, or make something else worse.
Not a lot to go on, I know, but we haven’t been intentionally “silent” on the issue, we just don’t (yet) have anything new to say beyond that our programming team is continuing to work to identify the cause.
CAVALRY IN PS2 CONFIRMED GUYS
HYPE
They are unicorns and they have really soft hooves so play nice with the spikeys :(
lol . our brains are tuned weird. we're all over here like SHIT THEYRE GONNA BE EVERYWHERE

Cause...caltrops were historically used to stop horseback charges...sorry really dumb joke, I’ll see myself out now
Bastions now generate Power Projection score while over VS territory.
V S B I A S C O N F I R M E D 😜
lol, someone please start a u/a_sites anti-VS conspiracy, k thx
I am not sure how to feel about caltrops yet.
don't spend your nanites on cavalry
Upvote this man to the top, we need answers. If this isn't fixed before OW, there won't really be any vehicles at all.
see above: fixed
This is really important.
You said you didn't fix the nanite gain in desolation so you get zero nanites while being in that zone.
This bug together with the bug in which you paid nanites on desolation for MBTs breaks actually the game. Because after you died once you can't pull MBTs anymore. Can you please confirm that the last bug has been fixed?
Edit: It's fixed!
fixed :)
This are desolation changes. This patch will hit the live servers before Saturday. 100%
*Technically* Desolation changes are already live (and in fact, what's on Test is only about 98.9% of the changes on live - don't quote me on that percentage). The Test changes today are just to push a match schedule on PTS before Saturday. We're also giving Desolation access to a handful of PS2 streamers who will be casting matches on their channels on Saturday, so they can explore the map and play around with Obs Cam.
But we're aiming to get EVERYTHING on this patch ready by mid-next week.
The patch won't hit live for a very long time I assume.
That depends on test feedback, performance, etc, but the goal is to get this to live next week.
Good to know. I was hoping for 20%, but we'll see how it performs.
Yeah, don't mind tuning it down depending on how it plays. The duration as well.
You just have to go to Sanc to get the blueprint unlocked. If Im understanding that to mean you just get it unlocked once then it can be refreshed like any other item. If its like current live conditions where you have to constantly go back to Sanc then yeah that's eww.
No, you've got it right. As the patch notes mention, you no longer need to continue going back to Sanctuary for merit deployables. You pick up the schematic once, then restock through the loadout screen after.
What happens if only one small outfit at a base and the score is less than 3000?
You will still get the outfit claim, and the tick on capture. This rule was intended to limit outfits from redeploying someone to a fight across the map for the tail end of a base capture just to get resources. In short, players actually need to actually participate in the fight now in order to get credit.
Yeah, that might do it, assuming the slow on hit isn't egregious like 50% or something.
Edit: Holy shit that max damage range though....
It's 30%, and lasts for 2 seconds.
PTS doesn't finish loading after the update and I can't enter the game.
Rebooting and validating assets didn't help.
It always loads about 1/3 and then just stops loading.
Edit: It now finishes loading but the server is locked.
Edit 2: Servers are unlocked.
PTS wasn't finished publishing when u/wrel posted these notes. Its being unlocked now and you should be able to login shortly.
